@Duke49th >>> ouch :D

Hi,

I must admit that I can not meet the scheduled release date (this year).

Sorry for that Misjudgment :o

After I had created the first demo parts, I was attacked by some bugs that I did not have in my plan.

I think that I have found all the bugs now and I hope that I can easily create the rest of the demos. But I do not really care what I even expected,

since the DAC is very complex.

Please be patient ...

No rush mate. We shall fend off the "is it ready yet" people with sharp pointy sticks. OK which one of you is first?

As you already implemented an 'andersson-blocker' I guess I can say whatever I like ;)

I came home after a job tonight and I quickly read the forum.. 1.05, cool. Apache, cool. Aha, ACE2 v2, nice. HiFi beta, good job MarkXIII.

Where is DAC2.1.....? It must be on the second page for some strange reason... No... Wtf..

Still in 'Discussion'!!!?? Pfft!

@Silola. I told you before and I do it again. Please stop peeing, eating and other non-essential things (for us the end users), it takes time away from DAC!

I would appreciate if you just moved your computer and refridgerator to your bathroom so you can code without interuption. I heard speed and other drugs can keep you awake.

5 womans here at home

Jesus ...

Already struggling with my only one.

So i guess no price for the 6th place then.

Whatever....looking absolutely forward for DAC2.1...no matter how long it ll take, as i am sure quality works will be released and it is worth the wait again!

So "DAC-2010" looks much better than "DAC-2009"!

Guten Rutsch, Silola!

Hi and happy new year :)

As I said last year, there is another new feature in the DAC V2.5

With the DAC V2.0 it was possible to integrate editor-placed groups into the DAC system.

But the bad thing was, it was not possible to release such a group from the DAC-system again.

Moreover, such a group could not have editor-placed waypoints.

Now, with DAC V2.5 the following things are possible:

DAC V2.5 can now add editor-placed groups into the DAC-system, regardless of whether they have waypoints, or not.

Hint: Any group that is placed in the editor (without waypoints),

has the waypoint 0. This is the position, where the group was placed at in the Editor.

Now you have also the option, to save all the waypoint data (from an editor-placed group) in a user-defined array.

With the new feature, release an editor-placed group from the DAC-system again, it results in the situations with the following options:

If you have saved the waypoint-data from the editor-placed group:

- The group will return to their old waypoints, and activate its last current waypoint (if the group had editor-placed waypoints).

- The group will return to the position where it was placed in the editor (if the group had no editor-placed waypoints).

If you have not saved the waypoint-data from the editor-placed group:

- The group will stop and perform no further actions

But that's not all ...

You can release any DAC-group from the DAC system :)

Especially by this feature, another big possibility comes true:

Example...

You generate one zone with 5 groups of infantry.

After the DAC has been initialized, you can release all groups of this zone from the DAC system.

Now you have the opportunity to transfer these groups to an external AI-Addon, for example GroupLink ;)

In this context, there is another additional possibility:

If a DAC group is removed from the DAC-system, they will stop moving

because they have no more waypoints.

For this situation, there is the possibility of getting any number of waypoints from any DAC zone,

to start a simple move-script for the group.

This script is really very simple and has only the purpose of keeping the group in moving, without any further function.

In other words for one group:

- The group is generated by DAC.

- The group is then removed from the DAC-system.

- The group is then passed to another AI system.

- The group can optional use the waypoints of the DAC system, so that the group continues to move in their zone.

What additional opportunities resulting from it you must introduce yourself :p

I wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2010 :)

Greeting

Silola

Just searched for the old 2.0 version (ArmA I) but I guess nearly all newspages are linked to the (now closed) mapfact.net address... :(

Is there a downloadlink still available for 2.0?

I´d really like to play with it until the new version arrives :bounce3:
