Respect is what you need to earn and nothing you get for free.....and espacially nothing you get for being ignorant to your customer. Edit: To clear this out a bit more: BIS wouldn't be where they are now if they hadn't the hardcore fan base. Thats a fact and nobody can deny it! "We" excused so much issues and deficencies over the years and continued to buy their games and most of the fans even the DLC's. We said so many times, hey...they will change their minds and behaviour and going to fix it. But not. They dont give a damn fuck on the hard fan base that supported the games for over 13 years now. They're going to straight piss them in their faces and call it a feature. No wonder that some of the highest skilled modders stop their work now. Some excellent websites have been shutdown already. Where is ACE3? Where is SLX? Where is PMC? Where is AMS? See...thats what I mean...and those are only some few mods/sites with their devs turning their back on BIS. And when the casual gamer stop playing their buggy shit and EA or another big publisher is bring out a similar game with less bugs and more nice graphics...BIS can close their doors. Because the hard fan base is gone. The gaming industry is not shrinking..its still growing. Some of the players are kind of "guilty" aswell. All those Altis life and DayZ Mod player killing this game too. (not really guilty...but one factor) But thats the point where the Devs/Management have to choose...pleasure some casual gamers that dont care BIS and go away after some time....or caring the fan base that wants to stay with ArmA and BIS and not play it only casual. Sorry...due to my english skills I cannot express myself the way I like..but I think and hope you understand me..

You guys are funny^^ I talk about 17-24 fps during regular gameplay...and 1-3 fps during the drops^^ (But I talk about MP - where the server calculates the AI...so thats what Im personal wondering why my fps drops so dramatically from >50fps on an empty map down to sometimes 10fps if the AI is just on the map (even it is on the other side of the map) - the hard fps drops came from some vehicles shooting and hitting the ground. Very easy to reproduce aswell - as long as you dont drunk too much Vodka^^ But hey...your fps drops after a while just for walking on an empty map...doing nothing..just walking. So Im not really wondering why performance is such a big thing again in Alpha 3. Just read the changelog of the last stable patch and you get an idea why there will be no fixes and improvements of the mos important things ;) I give you a hint: Added: New sound for church organs Any more questions? :D Wrong question...should be "Why do you guys care more about Steam archievements and useless content instead of fix bugs which were reported many month (sometimes 13 years) ago?"

I cant name the reported bugs right now, without taking a look into the bug tracker. But there are certain serious bugs/issues reported many month ago and still not resolved. But you guys have time to add more content and fix silly bugs/issues that nobody cares about. For example the color of the fishing nets. Beside that there are bugs that are in since 2001 from OFP. 13 years and no fixes. Before you spend 500.000 $ or € for a contest you better should spend the money for more devs. There are many very good modders turning the back on BI already coz of your (not ur personal maybe..but the company BIS) ignorant bevahiour to fix the most important issues before developing more content or functions that brings more bugs or difficulties to bug fixing. You wonder why Im rude? Because I spend money for 13 years now for products which every single of them didnt pass a quality that other developer (if that would be their software) would call a beta. Hardly a beta. A very much buggy beta.... I dont know who exactly is responsible for that. But it pisses me off. Then I read someone who paid the game and wants to play shall now record a video, make a detailed repro and so on. It is not his job. He paid for the product...not for doing your job. You also have to keep in mind that many players buy hardware just in the hope to have better performance..and will be dissapointed. So it is not only ~45€ that many customer paid. Not rarely people spend hundreds of Euro just to play this game...and you slap them with your actions...or better call it inaction. Edit: Again..Im talking to the company BI if I say you...but you are one of the devs..so..in some point of view I taalk also to you.

Such issue would need qualified Devs to solve. Are you serious? Do your job, we paid you already. Damn it...we are not your testers team. You got the hint - now go and check it yourself. Its easy to reproduce...as most of the reported bugs and issues. Only problem is that you dont care or listen to your customer... And for what a detailed report if you continue to ignore it? Unbelievable....

I got a question..maybe Im just blind or missunderstanding something. I want to limit the numbers of Respawns to 1 if the whole group is down. But I want infinite (or at least a high number) of revives. As what I understand it the number of lives = both...respawns AND revives. Please give me an advice...I feel real stupid right now :D

A lot of the high skilled modder that brought a lot of high quality mods during the past 12-13 years are turning the back towards BI because of that bullshit they're doing with us.

What the F**K is going on?! I had the same issue now on a friends PC. He could not host a non-dedicated server anymore. Same problem as described by the TS. We deleted ArmA, we used CCleaner to delete any logs, temp files etc. Set the firewall, Avira Antivir and so on, an exception. Nothing helped. Almost 4 hours we tried almost everything except reinstall windows. We then saw this thread, when I want to open a thread about this issue. Unsubscribed the missions he downloaded via Steam Workshop - it runs again "perfect" (as far as you can call Alpha 3 running perfect) :mad: P.s.: IM really happy there is Teamviewer...he would never ever figure out that shit...espacially as he not speaks english...

I'm dissapointed too. 13 Years long I bought almost everything from BI. I bought OFP 2-3 times because of CD scratches. I bought A3 only because my very blind squad mates told me there were no bugs anymore. Hahaha...so very blind I tell you^^ I did'nt play it for only 1 hour and saw the same fucked up bugs in A3 like in OFP in 2001. Not to mention the crap FPS. I run A2+OA on Ultra High with >25fps. I run A3 on lowest settings (@1920x1080...but lower resolution is no option with my FullHD LCD) and Im happy if I scratch 20fps. Im not allowed to tell BI devs (the Spanel brothers) what I want to tell...(forum rules^^) So I say it in the most harmless words I can tell...I'm very dissapointed by you BI! I wish you go insolvency! Edit: And to all you blind fanboys: Please shut up and just spend all your money to BI...but please...just shut up..

Short question: With the new FCS for tanks...is it planned to add a "commander override mode" in the future? Would be nice:)
