Pvt.mcdonald 10 Posted October 26, 2010 I'd like to see some humvee's that actually protect you because even in the 50 cal. GPK humvee in OA i still get shot so i'd like some real armor.
suhsjake 1 Posted October 26, 2010 You do realize that the HMMWV is still an open top vehicle and they can shoot you through the spaces?

NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted December 11, 2010 Why does this model look weird. Anyone ever had problems like this?
Rhodesy77 11 Posted December 11, 2010 If your talking about the long shadows on the side then maybe you got some open faces in your shadow lod?
namman2 0 Posted December 11, 2010 1st it looks awesome :D but the textures looks too clean , and as said above the shadows have some open points and maybe some parts are just too smooth?
konrad1 10 Posted December 11, 2010 look nice just give more dirt

NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted January 6, 2011 Debating on a muddy look. I haven't gone in full effect yet. Just testing some things. The tires need some loving too I know. But This is a good concept pic. Any suggestions?
Cyteless 10 Posted January 6, 2011 I like the muddy look, makes it look rough and ready. :)
chapman_2424 10 Posted January 6, 2011 Muddy look = solid. Might want to add some chips of paint missing - scratches and battle wear. Chapman
jake8787 10 Posted January 6, 2011 The mud looks excellent. Very nice improvement to an already great model!
Fox '09 14 Posted January 6, 2011 i'd say the mud should be a bit softer but otherwise awesome
ray243 11 Posted January 7, 2011 Really sorry NZX, but I believe you are not working on your M-ATV because of the shadow problem? Really sad to see it not done..........
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted January 7, 2011 Its still in the works.
ray243 11 Posted January 7, 2011 Okay, thanks for the reply. Good work on the dirt marks! Also, out of curiosity, what's that radom panel at the back for? Is it for the 'Do not go within 100 metres of this vehicle sign?' And what you could do is add variety to the humvee. :D
jadehorus 10 Posted January 8, 2011 Mud looks good, but I would have gone rather for the "dusty" look. Oh,and I love your signature!
NoRailgunner 0 Posted January 8, 2011 What about the muddy look for woodland/winter and the more dusty look for desert vehicles?
ray243 11 Posted January 8, 2011 Heres some images that might help! http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1929591/2/istockphoto_1929591-moving-humvee.jpg http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT6Boptd-K7A0ty8TpVozaIg511lj4HSMNzro24u08YAQC2ZwnG0Q http://image.4wheeloffroad.com/f/9246409+w750+st0/131_0605_08_z+army_hummer+rear_view_mud.jpg http://punditkitchen.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/humvee.jpg Also, NZX, is your mud supposed to be dried mud? Because it looks like dried mud.

nodunit 397 Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) Any suggestions? Yes, post more :D Very much an armored beauty, I love how the texture on the metal is plan minus the dirty bits rather than covered in chipped paint and what have you, looks much more realistic and bonus points for no shine. As far as actual suggestions.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonpayne/287922823/ One question though, it probably sounds strange but will you by chance be including a clean version? mostly no mud, maybe a small amount of dirt and lightened tire treads but nothing too much, like so http://www.flickr.com/photos/fisherbray/3574145998/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/fisherbray/3574145998/ Edited January 10, 2011 by NodUnit
