Beagle 684 Posted July 6, 2009 How about the fact that women characters are USELESS?They can't drive, they cant shoot guns... I wanted to create a Super Bitch Patrol and equip all those women characters with pistols and snipers and have them ride bikes around. Like a Tarantino movie. Is there a way to make them playable.. rather than just moveable? No there is no way, and it is a litlle bit pointless. Btw. some women characters can drive some cars. The VAZ cars do work fine. Remember...women are in this game for ambient civilian life representation. Some special animations make them incompatible with combat. Most cargo animations are also broken. What they are for? You hear the sound is not from the location it played at but is following your ear you heard it play out on first. -Shoot any weapon in first person and turn your head while shooting. You dont hear the shot sounds "from" the weapon but in both ears no matter how you turn your head. This was not in ArmA1 and must be a bug. Serious one as well. Very serious Agreed. While I only have the demo for now until my CDWOW order arrives, I can also verify this is the case even in the demo. I turn to the left and the right and notice no change at all--in 1P and 3P views. I have read: Friendly AI kills you – You can be shot by friendlies as punishment for deliberately attacking civilians, friendly soldiers/vehicles. If you accidentally injure or kill a friendly unit, you are not punished instantly. You usually become a renegade after a series of friendly kills. Kalma 0 Posted July 6, 2009 I just played coop campaign with two of my friends. We found out that when you play these missions through, next mission doesn't open. Instead the host goes back to last animation or save or even to beginning of the mission and the rest are stuck in the "receiving data"-screen. Not a biggie, we can hax0r those missions open, but it would be nice to get a constant campaign and not been forced to reset the lobby by host, etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In Superpowers/ CTI, sometimes the "Tasks" tab on the map screen is completely gone from the menu, which keeps you from being able to select a town to capture, and, as a result, from getting the money for capturing it. Everything is so expensive that this really hinders you from getting anything but the basics. Have also been in some CTI games where no towns/supply centers or camps around the supply centers are on my map, the map is blank except for the terrain and the grid references. Both issues seem to happen at random, although the second issue, I think, only happened on one server that I tried to play on. I wish the computer voice wouldn't say anything unless I could really see the AI in my sight. Half the time my character announces that there's a man ahead of me somewhere and there never is, or he's behind a building or something. Kinda ruins the fun. agree. The AI has superhuman xray abilities. Lots of times they will "detect" something halfway around the world, that is not even close to being in eyesight. Not to mention all the times that they "see" someone across a valley let's say, when you can't actually see more than 30 feet in front of you because of all the trees and shrubbery. On a side note, would be nice if HQ's and camps had medical supply stations where you could heal. The camps have ammo and weapons, how about adding medical stations? lowang 2 Posted July 6, 2009 bugs in manhattan mission: I was about to fly to Gvozdno, but the chopper flew over the enemy base and I automatically talked through radio that we found it. They told me not to engage them yet and wait for the team boomerang. In about 10minutes team boomerang told through radio that they are there, but I did not want to attack the base yet, so I was rather searching Gvozdno for that woman. I did not find her, but after I wanted to attack enemy base, boomerang team did not respond to the radio message and did not helpe us attacking the base. D_O_A 10 Posted July 7, 2009 Well i encountered my first game breaking bug. Doing the campaign missions, the objective was to kill a sniper that has another squad pinned down. I switched to the marksman in my squad and climbed up a ladder to get a decent vantage point. I killed the sniper and switched back to team lead. The sniper AI decided to fall off part of the roof onto the lower building, causing him to be injured. When i tried to drag him, he completely dissapeared, and it looks like i am dragging nothing, if i select stop dragging, he falls through the roof into the building below. I managed to have him fall through to a spot where he was partially hanging out the side of the wall, and dragged him out and used first aid. Now he seems to be permanently incapacitated. Which sucks as i need the whole team with me to trigger the warehouse raid. The first few missions were great fun :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In badlands mission if you tell your men to move into the Bunker on Novoy Sobor they won't get out of there no matter what you tell them to do or how to move. They just stay there even though they try to get out they stay there as if some kind of invisible force shield is holding them back. The mission after Badlands (Dogs of War) as soon as you start and the dialogue goes on your team mistakes friendly NAPA fighters as enemies and open fire. This leads to you getting killed quickly. Alex72 1 Posted July 8, 2009 Trees Has been mentioned before im sure, but trees branches stop bullets. Even between branches they are stopped completelly. Image below show such incident. DMR bullets not far from target was unable to go between branches. The branches that was there was also the outer regions of the branch and it was very thin with leafs. So bullets should go through, and the area i tried to shoot was between. Even that could not hit. Bullets impacted in the air. RED area is a helmet of a US soldier. You´re guessing correctly - my team member, the driver, hit the Skoda car a was UNABLE to drive around it, still reversing and hitting it again...nice pathfinding:o) Come on, BI, we really need a new patch! ---------- Post added at 05:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:51 AM ---------- In one of the first missions (cant remember its name, Razor Two, I think) I got transported by a chopper to a nearby city (called for support). When there, we all disembarked the chopper. BUG: The AI pilot took off but approximatelly 20 m above the base, resp. the place where he left us, he got stuck in midair, unable to fly anywhere. hairydavey 0 Posted July 9, 2009 (edited) I'm running the game with the build 1.02.58136 patch and have just started the Badlands mission. The Razor Team AI won't respond to any commands whatsoever and I have no means of taking control of the cpu soldiers whom are supposed to be under your command. As a result, I can no longer play this level! Surely something this gamebreaking would have been picked up? This is when in the previous "Bitter Chill" mission, I chose to go to the CDF for help. When in Tusk as Loader and looking through the iron sights on your machine gun, when gunner fires their machine gun, your machine gun fire animation is triggered as well even though you are not firing. Obviously there has to be a limit to the amount of depression and minimum engagement range but this seems very unrealistic.
