  1. Which Windows 7 bug exactly? i run Arma 2 fine on Win7. QX6700 @ 2.66Ghz GTX285 4 gig ram 800mhz 4-4-4-12 Dell 2408WFP @ 1920x1200 (ingame res is 1920x1200) All settings very high, sit around 20-40 FPS which imo is acceptable.
  2. A shareable ban list would be handy, but i can see a lot of names being added to it by overzealous admins, who will permaban for small infractions. For example, the (voted) admin of the server i was playing on a few days ago, was having a fit whenever anyone even thought about getting in a chopper, saying just use teleport, fine for me as i don;t fly a great deal, not a great plan for the guys that log in purely to run transport/air support. I would hate to see people get added to a global ban list for stupid shit like that. Some kind of (web based?) infraction system would be great, and would give the offending player a chance to contest the ban/infraction. But ot be honest there are arshole players in every multiplayer game, most of them will have no doubt moved on to something else in a month, leaving the people who are actually interested in playing as intended to enjoy our game. Apologies for the wall of text :)

I reverted from Vista to Xp

Sounds like your system has problems not related to Win7 then, because i have never had a problem, running it as main OS for months now. First thing i would check with BSoD issues is RAM.

    GTX 295 on Q6600 performance

Tried the many fixes in the many NVIDIA threads around here?

    TrackIR 5 ArmA2 Thread!

Here I ordered mine from there (and pretty much everything else PC related) love PCCG
  6. Nope still the same old hit points system unfortunately.
  7. Doubt i would bother with the nudity, more realistic gore i would be interested in though (not that it is really needed either)
  8. Ok something is seriously messed up with my performance. Multiplayer has always been fine at maximum settings, singleplayer was a slideshow on any setting. Just put everything on max (including AA) and loaded up the singleplayer campaign. Ran silky smooth... so it seems to run better for me the higher the graphics are set? Not that i'm complaining :) just very random.

    PVP killed by hackers

Probably better off taking it up with your servers admin, until BIS fixes the exploits anyway.

    ArmAII-Mark

All settings at normal @1920x1200 Win7 x64 build 7100 using latest nvidia beta drivers. Dell 2407WFP (1920x1200 native res) Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 (using TRUE black cooler) GTX 285 GSKILL F2-6400CL4D DDR2 4 1GB sticks Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R Everything at stock clocks. Pretty average results.

    If my copy is licensed?

The fact that it included Arma 1 pretty much proves it is a fake. Unless someone was feeling very generous :)

    ArmA2 gives me seizures :(

I get a bit of Vertigo from playing some of the games i used to play when i was a kid, them and rockband/guitar hero, nothing with Arma though sorry to hear dude.
  14. Performance plummeted after first few campaign missions Dell 2407WFP (1920x1200 native res) Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 (using TRUE black cooler) GTX 285 GSKILL F2-6400CL4D DDR2 4 1GB sticks Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R 10 FPS average on High 15 average on normal. Not happy Moving back to ARMA 1 until performance is fixed. Tried the NVIDIA fixes btw (disabling physx etc) tried the command line edits etc etc. Windowed mode didn't improve things either. Tried xp x64, vista x64 and win7 x64 not seeing much difference between them. Latest nvidia drivers, have latest beta drivers installed now. Should probably add i get a steady 40+ FPS in MP with no grass with every setting set to maximum.
  15. I would like to see a x64 version added, i payed good money for my ram, let me use it :) Not to mention Arma 2 generally runs like crap.
