Thanks! I started in 2006 :-) Began in OFP, then moved in Arma, now in Arma 2.

Looks fantastic Rhodesy! Just the screen shot of the rangers alone is getting me excited.:bounce3: The vest looks very realistic!

I wouldn't remove anything from the nohq, just tone it down abit as there is nothing on the co to fall back on, it will just be flat.

EDIT;

Also have a look at the colouring of the Persian Hammer's choc chip pattern, there's looks more correct in terms if the US version.

^ agreed, also the DCU pattern looks a tad to large. also it is to bright imho. almost like a snow camo :S, just darken it a tad and make the "white" colour more of a sand colour.

good luck :)

Kiki offered to do the choco chip stuff, and he's very good at it. I'll send it to him and see if he's up to the job.

The resurrection of a legend (-ary fighter aircraft)!

As you can see this is pretty much WIP. All obvious issues you see are known, it's just not done yet. So far, it looks good to me, better than my last project. See full progress board thread (german!) with starting from scratch at task-force-141.pytalhost.de.

Will work with GLT Missiles only. Thanks in advance to [GLT]Myke.^^

That F-15 is AWESOME! Will it come with an F-15E variant?

@ the F-15,

nice model, i think you can even boost the polycount a little where it counts. I hope you manage to implement the variable intake geometry that the F15 has. It shouldn't be that tricky but it would look wicked.

Thanks. It actually is a Strike Eagle and since there is no need for a dedicated air superiority figther with a "no pound for air to ground" dogma in ArmA2 I do not plan to make a single-seater variant.

Variable intake geometry is planned, I got the concept in mind but animating things is one of the last steps. I am more worried about the exhaust nozzles. That will be hard to animate.

On it goes:

Well, intake done.^^
