I doubt there are animations of gunner holding a minigun anyways.

That is one thing BF2 :eek: did very well (animation of minigun operator).

Yes it's nice feature, if you are able to forget about fact that BF2 is awful game.

Great game for it's audience which is defiantly not the simulation market.

1942/bf2 probably one of the most well known games of the 21st century.

Well, if you're looking to have fun, BF2 is pretty good.

But, if you're looking for realism, BF2 is one of the worst games in that regard.

72;1291119']From 2 images i saw there seem to be degree of damage to tires. I saw a shot with bit less air and one with all air out. So hopefully a big caliber makes a tire go boom. :)

Now we'd just need that not so nice boom you hear when your tire does go flat :D

The beauty you get from the air in Arma2 looks to beat Arma1's by far' date=' makes me want to make an apache to cruise around in, ducking behind the tree's...It's amazing how something as "simple" as the enviroment can make the game far more appealing in its own right. too excited...

Alex. From what I saw yesterday with Bert's feed, I cannot comment on the driving ability of a damaged tire, but he did sit there and shoot the back tire out of of a vehicle and each shot dropped the air pressure of the tire (that corner of the car kept sinking down with just about every shot) until the tire finally expoded. I'm gonna assume when driving that there'll be varying degrees of control and traction issues with damaged tires until they are finally destroyed, then everything is tits-up from there.

Thanks Steakslim for the info. Hoping a big caliber (read Barret 50cal for example) would bang the tire at once and that the car if travelling at high speed will steer out of the road. That would be ideal and very very nice. :)

Yeah, just be aware I am judging from what I saw in the video, with no sound. Dunno if I might of been misunderstanding what I was seeing but it seemed pretty click what was happening.

Ooh I like it, looks very much like last generations FLIR, curious though why they did not apply it to aviation and armor units. It looks like they used Black Hot mode, I wonder if there is a way to possibly switch between Black Hot and White Hot (inverting the colors, probably would need to be a community adjustment).

But even so this definately makes things far more interesting..why would they add FLIR to the UAV's and not mention it, if it works universally that is no small feature.

Oh and thanks for the link whisper.

Nice how they add the music cue near the end of the speech, very reminiscent of OFP.
