PSYCHOSIM, are you using Aimpoint's weapons per chance? If so, that explains the bug. If I use the replacements pbo for the eotech sighted weapons,

So if you use the same, that explains it. I had to uninstall and reinstall ArmA because I couldn't figure it out, I had thought it was the vehicle addon and it wasn't, but a conflict with another addon--in this case replacing all the US weapons with the eotech versions of Aimpoints weapons.

Yeah, thats whats doing it by the looks of things, been using Aimpoints weapons.

Cheers for pointing it out........ Clears that bug up, just the not seeing your passengers bug left.......

When you say "Large Chuck" do you mean that you cant see the whole interior? Cause I dont have this problem.

If I may Assist you sir in finding the Issue. If I´m not completely wrong the "Chunk" bug was the Aimpoint and with the Passenger Bug he means lookin form outside to the Inside which means the window bug there. That´s basicly how I understand it from lookin on the entire thread with a bit more distance. But the last one is not only known on your addon that is in some cases an entire arma bug. So maybe you can fix it maybe not basicly I don´t know what makes it. Hope i could helpe you.

This has probably been noted anyway but...Gunner's view on the M240 version is obscured by the gunner's hand. In the zoom 'v' viewmode you can't see to shoot anything.

Also should the M240 on the HMMWV not have a heatshield (they use, what the D version?). Is it possible to use Vilas' M240B model to have one with a heatshield on the hummer rather than the default ArmA one?

Might you be persuaded to add a version with an M60? Skaven and Vilas (though I think the model is the same...not sure who's) have m60 models.

One last thing, should an uparmoured HMMWV survive a hit from an 81mm mortar (either direct hit or 'splash damage'? I've no idea, but landing one close to it (couldn't see target clearly from my viewpoint) caused it to go 'boom'. Is that normal?

Hmmmm.

Just a test. Yesterday and today I've seen 3 different "Last posts"  shown on the Completed main page by NZXSHADOWS but I only see DataPlague's last when I open the thread.

EDIT:

That did it, I can see NZXSHADOW's posts on page 8. I'm not sure if the rest of you could only see DataPlague's last post on page 7 for the past day, but I could would only get page 7 until now.

Sorry for the senseless bump, Moderators. But I couldn't see NZX's last two posts until I added a reply.

Nice 240!

The mortar addon I used is Sander's L16A2 81mm mortar mod converted from the old OFP Lowlands Warrior bunch (pity they don't seem active in Arma...their Dutch stuff for OFP was good).

L16A2 81mm Mortar. As I think i wrote, i couldn't tell exactly whether it was a direct hit that took out the hummer (I'm guessing armor is stronger underneath not on top) but I think splash damage maybe took one out too.

Saw a TV show last night about the factory that uparmors the HMMWVs and paints 'em (GI Factory). The paint looks very much like your texture (er, that should be the other way round really). Cool stuff...especially that minigun version paired with Jonny's SF guys.

Nice addon!! However ive noticed a small bug when using the hummvees on Avgani..(mabey it's not just related to avgani??)..a few times on avgani in an uparmored hummvee i was going fast down a hill with a passenger and we simply fell out of the hummvee..(identical to the motorcyle bug in Arma)..and it killed both of us each time....just my 2cents wink_o.gif

why when i'm running i can accros the whole humv? this happen also when normal units r walking, they can accross the veichle like if it didn't exists... will be a ghost veichle?  wow_o.gif  wow_o.gif

I get the exact same thing. I'm not sure if it happens with all units(AI or not), but any AI units in my group will cross through the vehicle like it doesn't exist.

I've had them get stuck near the front wheel wells, especially if kneeling or crawling. Though I'm not sure if they are really stuck or if it's just the AI being a$$h@les and decided not to move at that moment. But until I get in and drive those bastards a few feet to get em bloody, they wont move.

No big deal, just a quick heal from the medic and we're all friends again.  wink_o.gif  biggrin_o.gif

Um, this might be a noob question, but here goes. What is the difference in game between the M1151 without front bumper and the M1114?

Well right now not really a whole lot. But you can tell that there is a different Roof, Hatch, Doors Front windshield, Still working on it. But Mainly trying to finish off the M1151. but Im going to do something similiar to the pic below. I still have to add M240, MK19 , etc version's. Even have different turret's. Current turret is wrong. Theres probly going to be

hey you do realize that the intake that comes out of the hood, as in a "snorkel" is USMC hummer... due to amphibious ops. I dont think the Army Uses hummers with snorkels on them... I might be wrong... but Just throwing that out there... Such as these pics. And the Hummwv's that you have put out are technically not USMC style HUMMWV's... due to the missing Snorkel... then again, like i said, i might be wrong... And not to assume anything else, i was under the impression that you were releasing usmc shat...

Hey I've been doing some thinking here, since the doors now individually open and close via user interaction, is it possible to assign a "door open" and "door close" sounds instead of having the default sounds? When you get in it plays the auto open n' close even if you leave the door open, hehe.

So yeah, was wondering if its at all possible in ArmA. I know SLX had the whole engine startup which was great, so it had me thinking while playing with these bad boys. biggrin_o.gif

I'm not sure if they are standard on Army HMMWV's or not. I have seen a few on them though, but I'm not sure whether it was something done by a few teams for a specific reason at that moment.

With that said, you could very well be correct. Although I have seen a few, I can't speak for the Army. That wasn't my Branch....(And damn proud of that! wink_o.gif  tounge2.gif )

lol well Im deff. not army! But yea, I was saying that the snorkel is standard on USMC HMMWV's... And I was under the impression that these were suppose to be USMC HMMWVs... Im not bitching just didnt know if it was intentional or an oversight... notworthy.gif

I think he did it intentionally too get some more variation in there. Now that you mentioned it, I guess I never really thought about whether they are made for Army, Marines or just general purpose at this point. I just jump in and go whether using .Jonny's or Cam's. rofl.gif

Hopefully at some point when one of the other texture masters around here have some free time to spare, and permission is granted, to spit out a few quality skins for 'em.

I don't remember there being anything said about these being USMC Humvees.

hey just on this note also, The USMC uses the M240G version. The Army uses An M240B and possibly another. I dont really know what the difference is seeing as I have only messed with the 240 Golf.

Sir, would it be possible in your next release to have a more specific and defining names for the models.  I was thinking something based on the Turret design and Weapons/accessories, for example:

M1151MK1_M2

M1151MK1_M240

M1151MK2_M2

M1151Mk2_M240

M1151RMk2_M2_Rhino

In the editor the are defined by periods in front and rear of the name.   Thank once again for your outstanding work!
