Warfare with US vs RACS and with OPFOR as AI could be something hehe. Or just PvP in general can be more balanced when both sides have a lot of different vehicles and more modern gear.

That turret looks like the one in a Panzer IV.

it really does, but actually its a US turret they mount on LAV-150s and Dragoons. I hope you all are as mildly obsessed with recoiless rifles as i am muhahah...there are 5 vehicles (3 landrovers, one M113 and one uUAZ with SPG-9 man the work amazingly) there will also soon be a BTR-152 as soon as my real life quits butting into my playtime.

I think that if the Sahrani is placed in the north Atlantic Ocean, i think it can be very near to Europe infact you can see some ruin of castle in the north part of the isle, can be realistic that the Sahrani Army can have some European made military vehicle.

And at the end we can think that South Sahrani is a rich country thank to the petroleum extraction than it can agree in the European project A400M (i've said that a group of people are done a really interesting model for ArmA of this plane).

For the personal weapon i think that Sahrani Army can be equipped with:

HK G3A3 as standard rifle.

HK G3A4 for Parachutist.

Beretta PM12 and MP5 for Special Force.

MG3 standard machine gun.

M16A2 (actual rifle in use in the RACS) for the reservist.

Beretta 92FS, Beretta M9 as standard pistol

Panzerfaust: AT

FIM-92 Stinger: AA

Weapons for Racs troops imo would be old schooler stuff like M16A2 's that should look really really worn out and scratched like a 5 year old cell phone that has been taken in and out of your pocket and been lying next to your house keys in that pocket to obtain constant scratches...

Also G3 rifles and old Ak-47 or Akm or which model that came first.. and that has been exported alot.

The old FAL rifle from operation flashpoint resistance would be cool also and it came with the ofpec jam weapons pack with new sounds and all.

SKS rifle and M14 would work out maybe. Just old style weapons. M79 grenade launcher, Lawlauncher, rpg 7.

well we really have done our best to put the Euro-flavor in our mod. Reality is the majority of western european nations relied on american military equipment for a long time... and alot still do.....We want to do our best to sick with the story line of items already in the game. Our stuff will simply fill the gaps or expand on whats already in the game. Obviously Sahrani is a US or NATO client therefore thats how the equipment will be focused.....

we are working to bring you the Puma....Bushwars has already given us permissions we are just waiting on the MLOD....M113s will be the backbone of this army in its many variants..... we are still looking for a suitable wheeled APC to fill the gaps between the LAVs and our tracked items....

PS Etendards will be out shortly............hows that for Euro!

Sahrani in Central America.....ummm nah....no history of kingdoms in central America, no Mediteranean architecture, no middle eastern flavored Islands...with buildings that could pass as Mosques....I would definitely not put Saharani (note name sounds like sahara) as something like islands off the azores (as previously stated) or Canary islands type Island between Europe and Africa....Guess what the speak Spanish and Portugueses there too and they have a mixture of African and European Pupulation....It can be whereever, but look at the evidence and history of the world.

great tidbit I never knew they put out there! well that settles it. Google earthing that coodinate puts it a little off the coast of the Azores indeed but not too far (albeit 100s of miles from Canary islands some 2000+ miles away from central-south America it should be noted). This is what i figured by the ethnic makeup, buildings and fauna. This fits in nicely with our plans and our more European influence on equipment. No doubt BIS chose the 6 color DCU in concert with Spains use of that uniform in desert conditions. I highly recommend reading the wikipedia entry on the Azores and Canary Islands, facinating stuff. anyway, back to my work...RL work unfortunately.

Giving the RACS so many different loadouts is very nice. The mission makers can now decide which kind of conflict or order of battle to represent.

A good truck can be for the RACS the Iveco M250 (the FFAA mod team have yet do it for the Spanish Force).

Instead for a moltirole vehicle the Iveco LMV can be a good option.

yea i was hoping for a very nice troop carrier to go w/ the RAC's Huey and M60 tank that's available. but idealy something other than a retextured bluefor truck.

here is a idea of my own:

I like something like this mainly cause its sorta has that "hand-me-down" look to it that i think fits the RAC's well i don't like seeing them rolling out in expensive high tech stuff, that and it looks cool when the SLA ambush it.

also wouldn't mind a wheeled APC like this brazilian EE-11 Urutu

given how much one of those costs, I think you're a bit out of the ballpark as to what RACS would be using. The land rovers fit in well (although why the Australian version, god knows why) but you're right about the need for a larger truck.

to be honest the 5T fits the bill for that job, if we are to continue following the theme of donated US equipment, or why not an old British Bedford MK4... plenty of them knocking around as surplus these days.

Yes, but i think that the US come to South Sahrani only some years ago, but i think that the South Sahrani Army exist from a lot of years, than in the 80's and 90's the RACS could buy some vehicle and plane from Europe (for ex. the Mirage III and the Etenard) and now in a more Europeistic vision we can think that Sahrani can prefer European vehicle.

Is also real that Sahrani is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that it can be a SAC and USAF-U.S. Army strategic base for the protection of the North Atlantic Ocean (NORAD) than it's army vehicle and weapon can be more us-influenced.
