  1. Guess who's back.... back again..... PRACS is back..... your favorite substandard complete independent faction. So for a while now i have been searching for an excuse or a reason to play some Arma. Face it there is no animal like it out there...plus i just like making stuff in game. As ballistic09 put it once... sorta like model airplanes. So i got involved with the RHS guys. In trying to learn the new tech and catch up with the changes, i started porting a couple of my models as test mules for experimentation. Well I am happy to say it is going pretty good, and better than I expected. So I will be bringing you the Arma3 iteration of Project RACS. As with Arma2 I plan to evolve the forces a bit... shed some of the old legacy stuff and integrate new things. As usual you will not have RSAF F-35s or RACS strykers....but i will bring you some really nice kit in a well thought out ORBAT. Just as in the past, PRACS won't be about having the fanciest model or the perfect texture, but about a complete faction of quality addons for good game play.   3. First Infantry Division The First Infantry Division Unit was established in early-2017. The unit is run and managed by veteran ArmA players,and make up about 80% of our unit population. The First Infantry Divison aims to set a new standard among ARMA 3 Realism and Milsim units, by providing a realistic simulation of the Royal Army Corps in Combat and Training Operations within ARMA 3. Our Definition of Realism and Military Simulation Our approach to realism and milsim is, effectively, a non-bullshit approach. Members will be subjected to a professional attitude, becoming of a soldier of the Royal Army Corps , is expected of all members, and we expect all members to take operations and training's seriously. The Realism and Milsim aspect is displayed and perfected through how we act and interact as players within ARMA 3. This is a very complicated and in-depth topic that a book could easily be written about, so here is a summarized breakdown. When an individual joins the 1ID, he/she is put through a short and simple introductory course known as Recruit Training. This course bears similarities to the entry-level Basic Combat Training course utilized by the real US Armed Forces, but has been adapted by our unit to fit our needs within ARMA 3. Upon graduation of RT, said individual is assigned to the active-duty 1ID unit under their desired ASC. This could be the Infantry, structured after actual USMC infantry battalion organization ; or Medical Staff, who are attached to every infantry Squad and Platoon within the unit. Once assigned to a unit, said individual will be expected to participate in three main events: weekly Drill, Field Training Exercises, and Combat Operations.The composition of these events, and the manner in which we conduct them, makes the 1ID a Realism and Military Simulation unit - and an outstanding one.   4. Myself and FA Dalai Lamar decided to start a small project of addons. Our goal was to make the RACS not suck so bad. In order to do this we enlisted the help of a few people namely vilas, the FFAA Mod, the Malvinas MOD, Ebud,Rellikki, Shadow NX, Obmar and CapMorgan . With thier models and textures, along with our own retexts of those models and modification, they have become equipment for the RACS. We are constructing the full scope of weapons from the M60-2000 tank to new infantry and helicopters. Here are a few snapshots of what we have so far and we have only begun to fight!   5. As the 'chocolate chips' camouflage uniform of the RACS does not provide much concealment on much of Sahrani I have made simple reskin of the default units using Ebud's sewing template with a different pattern. Available at Armaholic Regards, Sander

  7. Hi, im tryng to configure a range exploding fuse for a shell. I need a script for a variable time explosion, time would be relative to target range, so shell will explode in proximity of target. Im very newbie in scripting, someone can help me?
  8. Southy and I are using the below script to add a bomb cam to our GBUs. Its an adaptation of footmunchs original bomb cam script. What i want to do is adapt it further but i need some help.   9. OK, using BinPBO now so that I can sign some addons. I made 3 successful signed addons, but found I needed to make a change to one so I edited and tried to binarize & sign again. However, BinPBO is not including subfolders anymore so my addon is failing. Why has BinPBO decided not to add in subfolders (where my scripts & images etc are)?
