miles teg 1 Posted April 20, 2008 Small bug report. When using the mortar, if the mortar is put away after firing the last round, any mortars still in the air never land. So in other words if the mortar gunner fires several mortars rapidly and then switches to rifle, then between 2-3 mortars still in the air never explode. They just disappear. Yeb 0 Posted April 20, 2008 @RH On the Ofrp website, there is a status about the progress of the mod and the different packs: Link 1 and Link 2. But the main answer you can expect is when it's done .
KeyCat 131 Posted April 20, 2008 Only had a limited test run but very nice so far! Kudos to everyone involved. /KC

granQ 293 Posted April 20, 2008 ah nice work. Once the vehicles are out this will be forced on my friends for our games. and I know you "just" make addons, but i would really like if you made a mod.. if so just for the menu.. and that the bis vehicles used your functions and stuff. Would be really good.

G_H_Play_AKA_BOSS 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Hi guys need help, and just wondering what the target string should look like in order for it to work thank you.
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 20, 2008 Excellent work fellas. I'm a sucker for units with customisable patches. The custom nametape is an innovative feature too. Massive thumbs up! I too have the problem whereby the names for items in the OFrP Objects Pack don't show up in the unit list in the editor. Empty->OFrP -Ammo/OFrP - Object shows up but the items in those lists are blank. The animation for the FRF2's trigger is a bit broken too. I'm looking forward to the rest of your stuff. Loved everything you did for OFP, you always seem to add great little features in your addons that make them a little extra special.
manzilla 1 Posted April 20, 2008 Great work guys! One question regarding the weapons crates. As been said about the objects, no names appear in the editor. But also, I'm having trouble finding some of the other weapons. They don't seem to appear in the crates. Although it's hard to tell with out name for the crates, but it seems 2 of the crates are almost identical. Are some weapons excluded from the weapons crates? Yes indeed, there is a problem with these. mistake in stringtable. Not sure yet when it will be fixed, next release...or patch. If you mean you can't find the LGI for example in the crate... Yes I don't think all the weapons are available in these crates. If you really have to you can change content by using script
Tora-fr- 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Quote[/b] ]No names appear in the editor It will be fixed in the next release . You can also check in this part of our forum if you have any other question (english spoken), of course we still check the thread here . Marijus 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Thanks I like it on OFP, and wery wait all you models... Cant wait Mirage and Rafale...
miles teg 1 Posted April 21, 2008 I can't wait to see the Gazelle blazing away across the skies...hopefully with the same awesome engine/rotor sounds as was used in OFP (by far the most realistic helicopter sounds I've ever heard). A nice heavy LeClerc in normal and UN white colors would also be very cool to blow the hell out of the SLA T-72's along with some nice nice APC/IFV's. Bring on the VAB's!!! Ah...and my favorites...the French Foreign Legion commandos (with the shemagh and dark goggles) and the Mirage F-1! Those will be awesome to see in ArmA!!! MEDICUS 0 Posted April 21, 2008 After some testing: Excellent infantry and very nice weapons! Really enjoy to play with them! Just a few things i noticed: * Mortar shells seems do disapear if you get out if it befor the last shell hits the ground (still mentioned by someone else) * 1st- and ironsight-view on the mortar are a bit strange. Hard to aim (in my opinion). Also some kind of manual would be nice ("How do i have to aim on a target?"; "How does the scale work?", etc). * The weapons itself seem to be very loud compaired to the vanilla ArmA weapons. Hard to understand anything if there's a MG Gunner fireing next to you. * There are some missing classnames in the ReadMe (like the ANF1 FM + Mags and the Machinegunner (ANF1 FM) itself). * Any chance to translate the OFrP-Marker to english? Some of the markers are "self-explaining", but at the rest i'm completely mystified. Again, great work! Looking forward to your next releases! Mr_Tea 0 Posted April 21, 2008 ....* The weapons itself seem to be very loud compaired to the vanilla ArmA weapons. Hard to understand anything if there's a MG Gunner fireing next to you. .... You would be nearly deaf, if three mg-gunners firing next to you and you don`t wear ear protection. It`s totally fine this way. The ArmA sounds are too weak in many areas, for playability reasons is assume.

Yes, for sure in RL, but ArmA is game and due to this i think it's ok to cut back the reality a bit for the benefit of playability. I mostly play mp and we are useing TS, so comunication is nearly broken down if there's a firefight. MfG Medicus
