pretty sweet so far, only thing I've spotted:

a) Doesn't cast a shadow on itself that I could see

b) The elevators seem to have a sizable gap between it and the vertical stabaliser/rudder - i.e. not connected to the model

c) Prop blur alpha causes sea to disappear and reveal the sea bed behind it.

d) Personal preference - may just be HDR playing up, but it's painfull bright biggrin_o.gif That thing could glow in the dark.

The interior side panels seem a little bit bland - I suppose you're still working on them? Otherwise an excellent job, apart from that and Messiah's suggestions.

Thanks for this addon for both authors. Nice little plane.

I didn't notice any oddities relating to usage during a short test. Landed it on a road on a small canyon and was quite easy to do that without causing any damage.

Nice... more civilian stuff especially variety of planes and ships!! How the people might arrive at those nice "tourist"-islands? wink_o.gif

??

a) It does, must be your settings

b) You kidding right? Note that the WHOLE elevator moves.

c) Just like other addons done by better people than me ........

d) Must be your settings. Look at the screen shoots.

Thanks for the comments guys ! thumbs-up.gif

I'll get in before others do on a couple of things wink_o.gif

- The little pilot window door is twisted I know. Not easy to fix, next time.

- The cabin is squished for passengers I know. ArmA people have broad shoulders tounge2.gif

- A couple of (small) things dont get damage textures I know. (too much trouble until I sreamline the number of textures)

- The pilot (and crew) "hands" location is not correct for the control type, but at least their elbows don't stick outside the plane normally. Next time a better stance.

d) Must be your settings. Look at the screen shoots.

a) It only does in extra high shadow detail - not everyone plays with that one (I don't see the difference myself, so I leave it at medium) - everything else on the map self shadows on medium, just not the piper.

piper3.jpg

b) No, I'm not 'kidding' - I've seen that it pivots from the rear, it was just the gap was a bit odd - a little anal of a spot, granted, but it caught my eye

piper2.jpg

c) ... you asked for feedback, I'm giving it you.

d) ... Yes I've seen the screenshots - I'll put it down to HDR and its ingrained hate of white textures - nothing unique to ArmA.

e) Possible lighting error on the ailerons?

piper1.jpg

Otherwise, like I said, it's a pretty nice little thing. Good fun for trundling around the islands. Just trying to report 'bugs' and the such so you can hopefully patch them up. As for the prop alpha blur bug - I'll go have a gander if it happens to the uh60 blur - if not, there must be something in the texture or the order that stops it happening.

Oh, and just a lil' question. I've just taken off from the horrible mud runway at Ramadi yet, but do the plane really have that horrible thrust? Even after takeoff speed I had to pull the nose up and let it accelerate for 20-30 seconds before it had a speed at about 180km/h and got decently manageable.

Other than that it was a really nice plane though! Fantastic to have something without turbofan engines and just cruise around in. Nice addition to civil ArmA!

I think that's down to the runway - the 'bouncyness' screws up all the aircraft when they try and take off, and you struggle for the first few seconds to get it up to speed.

may just be the fact I cannot fly planes well on this game but on the runway at parasio I had to go the whole length nearly (don't like pulling up, bad memories of pulling up and stalling :/) and by the time I was airborne I was down to half armour. Is it too much stress or just a bug? the harrier in game doesn't get dammagd by this take off. Just a little feed back.

Other than that (which is good in a sense, I now pull up properly biggrin_o.gif ) its a sweet plane and landing auto works really well with the plane(flys to the airport then lands cleanly).

nice work.

well im not sure this is what you 'supposed' to do but when im taking off i put flaps full down, it gives a much shorter takeoff distance.
