-MCF- Frantz 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Well, actual error is in ZGB_FFARSs.pbo which i fixed too. There were some errors(missing ;)in Hind also.Hind_Fix ZGB_FFARSs_Fix Hello all, Where do the .h & .cpp files go (for the RHS Hind fix) ? Do I have to repbo them ?? EDIT : Yes i had to depbo, replace the files then repbo the whole thing.
ricnunes 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Hi, I really apreciate that someone made a fix for this problem, but I would apreciate even more if instructions on how to install this fix would be posted as well! Without instructions I don't know for example if: Do we need both fixes? Where will the Hind fix go? Like Frantz said, I supose that we have to unpack the Hind .pbo, replace the fixes inside the fix and pack the Hind again, is this correct? Where will the ZGB_FFARSs_Fix go? Inside the Addons folder? to an another place? Anyway, I did the unpack/replace/pack thing in the RHS_Hind.pbo and moved the ZGB_FFARSs.pbo file into the addons folder and I still get the same "'burst/' is not a class" error. -MCF- Frantz 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Yep I depboed and repboed but I still have the same error too. Did I do something wrong ?
hamis 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Yep,you have to depbo rhs hinds and replace those files.I'm not rhs member,so i don't dare to release whole fixed pack.I have to investigate that message yet,but there was many errors in those configs. One of those was related to burst,so i thought that was corrected. alpha125rbf 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Hamis It seems your fix is not fully working (for me). Is your version fully working? Can you explain where the problem was or release a new version?
hamis 0 Posted August 29, 2008 Well,it seems there is some error somewhere yet but i can't find it.
alpha125rbf 0 Posted August 29, 2008 No problem - I can live with it and will try to search for it. We have time...
hamis 0 Posted August 30, 2008 Well, the error is not in hind pack,i think.I have researched all configs i have, and it's not few. Some errors are about impossible to find.
[GLT] Legislator 66 Posted August 31, 2008 Your fix didn't work. Well at least now all but one chopper has working turrets now. Any idea how to get rid of the "Burst is not a class error message"?
william1 0 Posted September 1, 2008 Ok people , i've located and corrected the "burst/ is not a class" error in all RHS hind versions , so it won't appear anymore , just unpbo the addon and replace the original file with this one  http://rapidshare.com/files/141735650/RHS_Hind_burstfix.rar.html
alpha125rbf 0 Posted September 1, 2008 william1 & hamis and others who wanted to fix this - you are my heros! I tried to find this bug 6 months ago, and failed to do this now- can you say me where you found it?? It also seems there is a conflict between the BIS and the RHS config files. With the fix the cobra shows the error now.
[GLT] Legislator 66 Posted September 1, 2008 I've tested the fix. The problem is solved now My AH-1Z works fine, even the one's from Sentinel - Air.
GD Mast 0 Posted September 1, 2008 william1, Which tool did you use to unpbo and then repack it? Â There's a couple out there but I would like to know the easiest for someone like me (noob).
hamis 0 Posted September 2, 2008 Easiest tool for packing is cpbo by kegety.
layne_suhr 0 Posted September 2, 2008 and UnRAP for .BIN files is great (eg.. some configs)
william1 0 Posted September 2, 2008 william1,Which tool did you use to unpbo and then repack it? Â There's a couple out there but I would like to know the easiest for someone like me (noob). i use Pboview , is the first i used and it works perfectly . The problem was in the FFARlauncher baseclass , and i don't get any error with the cobra , it works perfectly too
GD Mast 0 Posted September 3, 2008 Thanks william1, That was pretty easy (I think). Â I unpacked the RHS_hind.pbo, then replaced the cfgweapons.h with the one you provided. Â Then repacked it. Â Hopefully that is all I had to do. Â
GD Mast 0 Posted September 3, 2008 Is there a fix for the main & tail rotors? Â They rotate the wrong way during start-up. Â Is that an easy fix?
william1 0 Posted September 3, 2008 yes , as simple as that , not sure about the rotor spin direction though , i think it has to do with the 3pd model, but i think only the original authors can do that modification because the addon belongs to them and it is not a error message. hit-man 0 Posted December 22, 2008 Hi, i've tested to fix it by re-pbo-ing but it didn't help ? I've Arma 1.14 + GQ running. Any idea ?
modemmaik 53 Posted May 13, 2009 I have trid to fix the 1.14 issues and contacted Shadow NX for release permission. He gave me the permission after a check. DL-Link Modem's RHS Hind 1.14 fix modEmMaik's RHS Hind fix for ArmA 1.08+ required addons: RHS_Hind v1.0 (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=1099) Changes: - Adjusted trackLead for homing missiles (improves tracking on moving vehicles) - Changed 12.7mm to airlock=1 (attacks airborn vehicles now) - Added maxLeadSpeed to magazines (AI will use FFAR and MG on moving vehicles now) - Removed burst entry on FFAR launchers (BI introduced a burst class to the FFAR's in 1.08) - Adjusted threat values for Hind-P's (to prevent them from attacking airborn vehicles. More prio on ground targets now) Main Features: - Homing missiles behavior improved - "Burst Class"-issue since ArmA 1.08 fixed Be aware that the hind shows much more activity now. Some older missions, including the hind, might be a bit difficult now ;) I have not fixed the rotor direction, because it needs to be fixed in the .p3d. This is a config-only fix.
