Zombie_Mod 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Some more bugs I just noticed: 1) In Destroy The Convoy single mission, if you use time acceleration when running to the chopper, the chopper will usually not land and instead fly off, attacking any remainder of the convoy? Also the 2nd bmp in the convoy appears to be psychic, it knew where I was hiding all the time and killed me with one shot plenty of times.... must be secret Russian hardware 2) In Armored Fist, you cannot command other tanks to move to a specific position without the map! Try it, the 3rd person view is useless inside a tank. 3) Also in Armored Fist, my gunner will not fire at any tanks, even though he is in ENGAGE AT WILL mode & has a clear shot. teaser 0 Posted December 3, 2006 PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeease make the prone point of view through iron sights a little bit higher up! It becomes practically useless because of all the grass.. If I zoom in without iron sights I have the proper height to look above the grassline. I have to manually take control of the gun and do it myself. Yes I saw all that, and one strange thing too, After tank "is status red" they disembark but they never mount a perfect A1 again. I killed the driver of a repair truck in desperation, and drove the repair truck to the disabled M1A1, with a view to repairing it. I could neither get in the M1A1 or select "repair tank" from the truck itself. It's not a bug but AFIK design decision. No, it was Armored Fist mission again that I found this bug. There's an Ammo lorry and a Repair Truck at the sea, and I'm in command of 3 tanks. As usual, one of my team got wasted in 2 minutes by the accurate RPG soldiers but their tank was lying there... I tried to rescue it and I couldn't. I was cursing the engine to hell.. Oh yes, while I'm at it, I told the driver of MY tank to go "repair tank at repair truck", he wouldn't do it, he was just going to drive into the sea Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AimPoint 0 Posted December 3, 2006 PK iron sight is way off, bullets hit below sight even at really close ranges. Confirmed the PK iron sight. Problem also with M4. Marian Quandt..this is really bad looking,she float 30cm over the ground too. M113 have stop light terxure problem,when in shadow zone. plus -Captive character is not able to put satchel charges. not sure if bug but.. -M240 and PK seem not to have the removal magazine when reload. -another a little thing..when the magazine is empty,the finger is not animated anymore. Thats because she's not meant to be "used" in the game, she was put in for cutscenes, and just because we have the knowledge to "hack" the configs to get them useable in the editor doesnt mean they need to work with the default animation system Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ravendk 25 Posted December 4, 2006 When i got tru the ai members of my squad or other ai with the switch player, the ai i change from "looses" its brain, the ai dont take over when i switch from the unit again. Its like if after i switch from a unit, his brain allso disapper Examble: I change from squadleader to the driver of a hmmwv, i move the car and then switch back to squadleader, then i oder the driver of the hmmwv to move and nothing happens. Frans 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I was playing the campaign mission where you have to take out a convoy with you chopper. I had just fired off a few guided missiles (missed, of course), when I saw "something" going ballistic. I targeted it, and it turned out to be the T72! I was flying at about 200 mtrs, and it was far, far above me. It finally landed on the beach, and to my utter surprise it happily rejoined its fellowes at the convoy. Soldat32 0 Posted December 4, 2006 That mission in the campaign where you have to blow the bridge then take out the armor thats trapped,I blew the bridge and watched 2 trucks and 2 BMPs roll right off the bridge and fall a good 50 feet down into the water and they were still alive trying to get up the bank. BVE 0 Posted December 4, 2006 When i play multiplayer, in the beginning everything works good, but then, suddenly after i changed views ( from 1st to 3rd person for example ) The textures start shocking, and the game starts looking like a freakin cartoon. And then when its loading, and u see the picture with the littlebird and special forces sitting in it, i dont see that anymore, i see 1 big blur, and loading starts to take a long time! When i use the editor, it works great, none of these things happen, only when i play multiplayer, and when it starts at the mplayer, the editor has it too, untill i restart ArmA any 1 knows whats the problem of this is? A bug, or is it my pc??? Specs: Pentium 4 Â 3.1 ghz 1 gig Mb ram geforce 6600 GT AGP And yes, i got the latest drivers installed, and version 1.01 of ArmA When i disable the shadows, i dont have any of these problems. Blazen 0 Posted December 4, 2006 I found a neat bug when doing chopper extraction from the water. We were able to get into the chopper from the water but when we were dropped back off on land we found ourselves swimming about 5 feet off the ground! An Armed BLUFOR soldiers and Independent soldiers do not get any reaction out of civilians, but stand a OPFOR next to them and they will lay down and cry, literally. Heck, I even had the bus driver stop the bus, jump out, and hit the dirt at first sight of me. They do not act this way for any other class. They seem to ignore everyone but OPFOR. If you shot at a target, the set distance that the gunsight was zeroed at, then it should hit pretty much dead on. Any other distance is going to be above or below the gunsight dot. Fred DM 0 Posted December 5, 2006 i went through a dozen pages and didn't read anything about the following bugs; Version German 1.01 Description when inside the BRDM cockpit, the world looks strange through the windows; also happens in the Stryker, but not in the M113, Abrams or 4x4. the world is always displayed correctly in 3rd person view. Description pistols aren't shown in the holsters even though the soldiers draw them from their holster. holsters are always empty. Description boat steering only works with free mouse look disabled. when mouse look is enabled, the boat can't turn left or right. Description i once ordered a Special Forces soldier (with suppressed M-4A1) to fire at a grounded Little Bird. but instead of using his rifle he grabbed an imaginary M136 (which he didn't carry and which didn't show in his hands), aimed with the proper animation, put it back, grabbed his M-4 again, put it back, grabbed the imaginary M136 again, and again, and again... Â Description targeting from a helicopter is odd; empty enemy vehicles don't seem to be recognized as targets and thus not locked on. Example: in the "Alligator" single mission i fly to the enemy camp. a number of M113 Vulcans and Strykers are parked with infantry around. none of the vehicles can be locked on with the AGM until the vehicle is fully manned with a crew. also, the Alligator doesn't seem to be able to lock on targets with the machine gun and the rockets. not sure if it's a bug, though. After placing one, you get a red X, which allows you to pick up the satchel you just placed. You have to move 2 meters before placing another one. (In OFP this was not a problem).
