As the casing or special edition outside;

I would love to see something like a backpak, pouch or something else you can use for different uses.

I would love to use the backpack for school and such walking around showing I'm an ArmA fan, offcourse a shirt/patch would do that but isn't usefull.

Offcourse with this included:

- the guide the german version does have

also and I have seen only one other saying this,

- the triangular thingie that came with OFP:CWC, maybe done different (on cloth)

- the writeable map

And people, an making of dvd is impossible at this time

Dunno that inert rounds would be feasible, chances are there's some obscure law somewhere that would cause complications, ie with age or jurisdiction or import/export. But if you can, here's a random link for supplies...

Coated topo map definately would be on the list.

# No requirement to have the cd/dvd in the drive whilst playing, i'm happy with a serial for the game but modern pc games simply don't need cd/dvd checks. They're easilly bypassed with a no-cd crack and only punish the people who buy your game.

my suggestion would be:

- armor case

- large map

- dogtags, shirt or at least something to wear!

- prima strategy guide or extra large manual

- Track IR -25% coupon

- maybe a little thing like compass, keychain or figure.

- AND! the coolest an artwork on the inside wich (if the expensions come) you can click on the other boxes and make your artwork biger and biger all the time!

I reckon the SE version should contain an additional CD/DVD with the soundtrack, editing tools and maybe video introductory tutorials for the BIS tools would be handy. Be good if all this was available online at a later date though.

A sew-on brigade badge like the troops wear in the game would be pretty cool I reckon (the little black demon thing).

Other than that, the most frequent suggestions in the thread; a Sahrani map+compass, military guide (similar to an Osprey book, or as a CD-ROM on the bonus CD mentioned above), clothing like a hat or T-shirt and a special case like an ammo or jerry can would make for a nice package.

Ah, yeah. That'd be a cool addition for the SE. A unit patch from either the Americans or one of the Sahrani guys. Patches are pretty cheap too.

OK.. my real wish list:

2. Topo map

3. Country guide (could be combined with topo map). Maybe a small section with concept art?

Instead of a large paper map, why not make an escape & evasion style map in cloth (silk perhaps) like the one's the guys from Bravo 2 Zero had sewn in their pants (Remember the book by Andy McNab?) I bought one as a souvenir at the end of my first tour in Iraq.....

If it has to be different from the original SE, here's my list of suggestions:

- Binoculars

- Laser pointer

- Bonsai seeds

- Sextant

- Conceilable GPS tracking chip and GPS map

- Sound amplifier gun for eavesdropping

- Camo makeup kit with mirror

- Camo pattern or aim reticule contact lenses (zero correction)

- General Guba head bobber

- Force feedback seat cushion, vibrates when you shoot or drive, either for own immersion or to hook your woman to watching you play ("Oh yes, kill that one too! And don't spare your bullets!")

All of these should come with an ArmA logo.

maybe a beret and a map of the sahrani island. A compass or a laser pointer would be cool, maybe soundtrack cd. posters with arma motives on them for fans to post in their rooms or run around

in the streets posting them on billboards and telephone poles! giving some advertising for the game

We want what the germans are getting:

original NATO-AmmoBox, a 120 pages Editing Guide, a Soundtrack-CD, a DIN A1 MAP (594 x 841 mm = 23.3 x 33.1 inch), an embroidered patch and the ArmA Fan-Shirt.

+ Also a regular manual to the game itself of course, printed!

Anyway, printed manuals are in my opinion a must to anything

I like the ideas of a jungle hat and laser pointer.

A backpack or "tactical" pouch would also be nice. besides being a nice gift, these can also double as the product's packaging.
