wow lets expand the flashpoint "Movie" community to a higer plane..

Bring on FFUR 2.5, i hope that this doesnt all take too long but there are still units being released by RHS unless 5b was the last lot but who knows notworthy.gif

umm... ffur already has RHS units...only not the new ones.  i would like to see the t72 and t80 brought back as the MBTs.  even though it's 2006, they are still in wide use, if i'm not mistaken.

Thats good but once again there will be a delay of what 1 or 2 month? Arma will be out by the time so no one will probably care when ffur 2.5 is out?! Well i will but i guess people will play arma and let go of ofp. Just my 2 cents

FFUR has a huge fanbase and for people who cant afford to pay or arma or a new computer I see every reason why this mod should be carried on to its fullest potential. smile_o.gif

FFUR 2006 needs quite a powerful PC to play smoothly, ArmA won't require a super computer just your basic gaming PC. TB84 thats great news man, Olemissrebel I agree that the T72 is still in wide use with Russian forces but it shouldn't be put in as an MBT maybe an additional Russian vehicle perhaps.

Like i say to keep stlye they will replace the LLauma head by the BIS one.

Dont think that will delay much at all, copy and paste work and then bit configuration.

Thank god. For a TC Mod, its good to keep the use of custom BIS-style faces for MP and such.

I'll post this here as TB is going to incorporate the new RHS stuff...heads up TB...

Something I've noticed is ...when using the moveingunner and saving as a multiplayer mission,the gunners jump out of the tanks.This is a problem when you want to attach a squad to escort the tanks and still have them controlable(the tank) by adding 2 of your own men.What I mean here is...I attach a squad to the gunner,put him in the tank then add my 2 guys as commander and driver,...anywhere I send my tank commander, a squad follows along with them.Allows you to control a larger force.Be nice if this could be fixed.BTW this is under FFUR2006 and the t-80um tanks in it don't have this problem.

The current tanks in ffur don't have this problem(even though they too are RHS),...only the new releases.

-First of all I want to praise your fantastic work, I think FFUR has become the new standard for OFP. In other words: I don't play OFP without FFUR anymore. And thanks to your consistent work you outpaced Y2K3 and even EECP.

-A suggestion: Is it possible to change the AI that way, that if the RPG/AT4 guy of the squad is dead, another guy (AI) will pick up the anti tank weapon when an adversary tank is around?

-A question: Would you implement Cameron MacDonald's fantastic DSAI (Dynamic speaking AI) extension in FFUR?

Hey mate, it would be nice, however, DSAI has an impressive backbone of pure scripting behind it, and so implementation, while possible, might bring frame rates to unplayable levels. Although maybe it could be done on a basic level, I'm not sure if TB is too keen. Though I can't speak for him.

What type of explosion are you talking about, Weapon, Tank or destroyed vehicle etc.

I never noticed if the parachutes were ever changed, but even in 20th Group we use:

IIRC no. I think the deal was that two configs are going to be included, one for the ACUs and one for the BDUs.

Isn't that how it is right now? I meant that if TB84 will add the ACU soldiers as default west units in selected vehicles or be automatically selected for netplay/singleplayer.

Yeah a retex for he parachutes would be quite nice. Currently there to 'yellowy' and need darkening and possiblyadding a slight green tint on them and they would look much better.

But thats only a small problem nothing too serious.

anyways, so far the default units in 2.5 are acu, yes, that includes the ones in the vehicles. as far as the final version goes, i have no idea.

It is fantastic! Just completed the whole Flashpoint campaign using 2006! (Some missions were utterly impossible due to the difference in weapons needed, particulaly the range of RPGs and the "stealthyness" of the friendly SpecOps AI)

It really is great, though I'm looking for missions to download that are actually good when used in conjunction with this mod! (i.e Sniper missions, plane missions and whatnot)

Damn, I have to play the campaign by switching to default OFP cause I get shot by some russian private with an AK74 while being 100's of meters away from me. crazy_o.gif

(also customized FFUR a bit by using WGL anims, love them. yay.gif )

Though, can't wait for the 2.5 update! Won't be soon for ArmA hits out here and I still owe my bro 200 euro's(no job atm whistle.gif ).
