Good example of how little smoke the missle trails. Great find.

bionicman303 1 Posted September 30, 2006 I Dont know if anyone post it yet but 5 new screenshots and an new Interview are released. These are really looking great! Especially the big one (showing the river) is interesting. Did BIS show a river on one of the older screenshots? What a pity that we have no "moving impression" from that river. I would like to know if there is a real water flow or if it is just like the "rivers" in OFP. Anyway, the latter is cool, too :-) greetz
Scrub 0 Posted September 30, 2006 This has probably been posted before, but T72 with a commanders machinegun!! Ya baby! Â This is absolutely beautiful. Two points: 1- The inlet (as IIRC there are no true rivers in ArmA) has waves, and I understand the difficulty in making transitional water is great.. Looks awesome nonetheless! And 2- I wonder how high that guy on the top of the comms tower would rocket when I demo it with 6 satchels.
Trueman 0 Posted September 30, 2006 In this picture Who in the world build a blok of flat in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a dusty road. I dunno what to do laugh or cry. It looks totaly wrong. I hope this is not somewhere on the ArmA map.

GBee 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Especially the big one (showing the river) is interesting. Being pedantic, but it's not a river. Quote[/b] ]Who in the world build a block of flat in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a dusty road. Doesn't look like flats to me, more industrial than that. I do agree that it looks odd though. It would be fine with me if it were flats, but where are the details like parking space, roof top arials etc? If it is a more industrial or commercial building, where is the fencing, ancillary buildings and exterior lighting etc

CsonkaPityu 0 Posted September 30, 2006 That building in the middle of nowhere could be anything, might be a resort or some other tourist trap.

Xanthus 0 Posted September 30, 2006 In this pictureWho in the world build a blok of flat in the middle of nowhere, at the end of a dusty road. Obviously you haven't been to former soviet countries before, it's common sense around here.
GBee 0 Posted September 30, 2006 Especially the big one (showing the river) is interesting. Being pedantic, but it's not a river. How would you call it? Inlet - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inlet Sea water, not rising above sea-level. A river is flowing fresh water and almost without exception above sea-level. Sosna 0 Posted September 30, 2006 The water effects have really imroved, almost there  Notice even the sand by the shore is darker due to being wet. http://www.coop-center.de/site/uploads/newspics/czechgamer5.jpg
