becouse there are few algorithms that rely on 1.1 version of the gate, and will be probably incompatible with the new one.

simply because the fact they implimented it

would sugest they no how to sack it

also if its going to be an official dsf release ide asume it'll have DSF_ in the pbo name

so we could keep both mods

hence leaving 1.1 (working properly) would be nice

(although thats asuming bx arnt updating thier gate ?)

i had a little look but gave in {i had other projects open}

and i found the dhd.pbo realy confusing compaird to some cpp files

but surely if they added it then it should be simple for them to disable it crazy_o.gif

even if it ment removing the wormhole open killing people

i doubt many would be that botherd,

just the joy of stepping through {with team intact} would be sweet

also we no an SGC is being made, but a fully working alpha site world is already out, so 1.1 aint useless yet smile_o.gif

i might look into 1.0 & 1.1 and see what they did and kill it,

but its not mine so i cant even release if i did

so untill 1.2 comes out we have to watch people die

probably just 1 line needs removing to make it neglect the script but as yet its unknown to me help.gif

yep its just one teeny weeny line, i would tell you but the 1.2 will probably go live tonight so can't c the point of butchering the 1.1.

im happy to wait as long as it takes

(i waited on 4 years for the Airwolf mod)

and that was well worth the wait

im also smart enough to no the dhd scripting is a fairly uniqe idea to ofp, a technicle marvel to say the least  notworthy.gif

im sure its been a nightmare to work on and i bet the testing sucks even more  confused_o.gif

i dont envy what your doing, even though you have the mod and i dont, i think beta testing would reck head even more than not having it, i think its the not being able to contribute because its not nowing whats needed yet is the most annoying

simply take as long as it needs   biggrin_o.gif

rushing it = mistakes

but if its not out soon one of us will end up frying that kill script  yay.gif

someone mail me some scripts or faces or something

i got nothing to do lol

like the gdo maker, i cant do much till the gates out,

although by the sounds of it all my scripts im making

will be un-needed by 1.2   yay.gif

1.0 & 1.1 realy missed scripted support for noobs like me,

like the iris  banghead.gif   works now though  whistle.gif   lol

@ The Wraith : i can give you weapons classname to make your script  wink_o.gif  if you can make faces, i'm ok to use them  wink_o.gif

i've used head model from if you can make them compliant with llauma's head project  smile_o.gif

im still re-designing my 5 cd rom collector set

(in the mild hopes mgm will let fans have them)

drives packed with millions of pics so pcs always draggin the drive  banghead.gif

so i just took 1 look in the dhd, i think i spent about 15 mins

and i just could'nt see a link to the kill file (only the file its self)

so like a noob i gave in looking LOL

if anyones wondering what direction im taking my current stargate work

its more audio authenticity (and pre-made scripts)

im lousy at 3d and texturing, so sound is best i can offer

and i love stargate

if anyone remembers the old german mod "RANAirwolf.pbo"

and xavier petes later update,

give mine a go (its a good example of sound)

run all the actions , she sounds amazing

especialy if its a tv show based mod

ye cant realy cheat with a tv show as fans will copair it,

yet you wont find any here saying when they were in the gulf thier M4 sounded nothing like the mods online LOL

Now, are those adresses preset or does it display the adresses of the gates on the map (assuming and hoping for the latter)?

the latter (each address actually translates into the map coords of the represented gate) , you can also add custom addresses.
