olemissrebel 0 Posted July 13, 2005 that kind of stuff isn't included in berghoffs pack, their island is only using things that are either default CWC/RES, or in his nature pack. (not counting their textures, but of course) Jojimbo from I44 has spent YEARS perfecting their lagless grass, you won't have to wait too much longer for it, then it will be on basically every island i'm sure ) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
the_shadow 0 Posted July 14, 2005 can you remove the concrete textures from the base S/E of the Airport? and from the towns.. only place it looks ok with concrete is the big one in the south and the eastern most one (on the main island) and ofcourse at the fuel stations this would make the island look much more real. Madus_Maximus 0 Posted July 15, 2005 The grass texture scale needs sorting. If you zoom out you can see that you look like micro machines (in vehicles obviously) on the grass. The blades are several times larger than you, which is fine if you're a borrower, but not quite here. Apart from that and the other things listed, it's really nice. I think you may be looking too closely at them and looking for patterns. From the ground these are unmatched. ITQ, other then what's been mentioned, I really can't find too much wrong with this island. Especially with Berghoff's updated nature pack. I believe it wouldn't be possible to play through the 1985 campaign again, so I give you the advice to release two versions - with and without buildings. Correct me if I'm talking stupid things ! mr reality 0 Posted July 19, 2005 These islands are simply amazing. I'm lovin them. I had a little slowdown on Malden averaging 8 FPS but it was very usable. Everon is fantastic and it's just made my favorite island that little bit better. Apart from the odd Desert island i appreciate this type of island modding as it improves what we already enjoy.
