An easy fix for the engagement range is to use the terrain. its rare to be engaged before and not know about it, the Ai crew are very good at spotting.

KH are we going to see any model changes or is it purley script and config work?

I don't know. It depends on Inquisitor, need to talk to him, maybe he wanna join me again and help to create some new textures... but can't tell you atm.

Ye, there was a conversation about the Hummers, and the moderator told me that I live too much in the world of OFP. Now you are telling me that I live too much in the real world. Damn it people, I am confused now! rofl.gif

I guess it all boils down to a good old problem. There were never any global settings for addons in the OFP world. Addonmakers never agreed on common values (armor values, reality vs. playability, etc.) Nobody at fault here. I wish when the armed assault rolls around, the addonmaker community would be more organized and could come up with a solution. I guess for now the config addjustments is the only way to balance addons. Thanks for answering my posts King Homer. wink_o.gif

Yeah, or it was that way.

I wish Armed Assault would bring some more realistic damage system.

IMO Sigma's armor values work out pretty good, I've never had a problem with how it's employed.

It's not that hard to edit a few values in the config to change an addon to what you want it to be. I've done this with a number of addons where I was annoyed at how they were config'd or the scripts they employed.

Same - I've got an entire system up and running for every tank, vehicle and weapon in my addon folder (it's a big one, 2.2 gigs). When it's finished, I might post it, though it's a mega huge text file.

Cameron, please do that. I only know how to do a few things in the config. Fro example, I have the hardest time figuring out how to increase the IR scan of the ground for FM's Tu-22M plane. Nomatter what I do, nothing changes. Frustrating as hell. If someone could post all the ways to change the config, that sure would help a lot.

nice, although the edges of the armour plates need correcting - currently its just stretched texture from the side face.

Uh um... well, i think it looks nice. But, the "Army" tag on it kinda screws it up for plans with USMC involvment... will there be an option to put USMC or ARMY tags on the side? because we use 2.0 and it dont say army on it, even though the U.S.M.C uses M1A1, i still think it would be nice to add a USMC tank in there?

Are the m2 machinegun and the m240 on the turret also getting some new textures? But it's sure a big improvement! Keep up the good work! yay.gif

Remember, they're made by Fishkopp. The whole M1 project is based on Fishkopp's original USMC M1A1's. Thank him, thank him that he allowed us to modify the tanks. smile_o.gif

Inquisitor is working on it. Just have a look at Fishkopps Desert M1A1's, pictures float around in this forum. smile_o.gif

This is true, i think that is you Delta... not sure, but yes.. what he said is right, M1A1 is only active in USMC because its lighter then the M1A2.

someone made a mistake, M1A1 FEP looks very similar to U.S. Army M1A2 SEP (M1A2 and SEP)are with TIV for commander and U.S.M.C. M1A1 is with countermeasures device on that place where SEP's has TIV sight...

and don't say that only U.S.M.C. use M1A1, U.S. Army use those as well...

but marines use only M1A1s

Looking excellent. Btw, if there are any division decals on the tank, can you remove them? I had to do it manually last time. Also, could you add a place to stick an NFOR, KFOR or whateverFOR on it?

speaking of compatibility, please tell me that the model and script/EH will remain the same name and no further input is required for Y2K3 creator, me, to have to do to my config to make this new version work tounge2.gif

or should i push back the release of 7.5 until this tank is ready?
