i wont be going as far as intergrating this into CoC arty as they're a mobile platform, not, say, a GPMG SF with C2 sight that's designed for long range engagements like that.

I'll play around with AI engagement ranges, and go from there.

a small update has been posted on our front page:

http://www.project-ukf.com

Quote[/b] ]Project UKF are proud to show off a little bit of what we've been doing these past few months. We admit it's been a little quiet on the home front, but fear not, we have been very busy behind the scenes making a few bits and bobs and there's been a few changes with how UKF is run too. We're planning from now on to make weekly/monthly news posts such as this to keep you all imformed on how we're getting on. Sometimes these will include pictures, sometimes not - you'll just have to wait and see.

UKF has had a very productive new year, and a sad one too. At the begining of february we saw Rhodite stand down from the helm of UKF due to personal reasons. Our greatest respect and thanks goes out to Rhodite for his firm, dedicated and enthusiastic leadership, as can be seen by the quality of our releases under his command. Hopefully we shall see him return for Armed Assault. Good luck mate!

Some better(ish) news now. We had intended to release another addon early in the new year, but as things go we ran into a few major headaches with scripting and Multiplayer compatability. These are quickly being rectified and hopefully we'll get something out to you sooner rather than later. To try and make up for this, we've decided to release a few promo shots of what we've got going on behind the scenes. Expect more to follow in the next few weeks.

The first picture is of our Armoured 'Snatch' Land Rover in its desert guise. This model is based on the current vehicle seen in action in Iraq. The latter two pictures are of our improvements to the Land Rover WMIK pack, with new models, textures and weapons systems throughout.

Enjoy!

Have you considered updated the solders to use the new head model? It's made a big difference to the units I've seen it on smile_o.gif

Just to add some further tidbits to what's been posted abovr by Messiah, if you keep an eye on the UKF website over the coming weeks you'll see some other addons being showcased. We've a lot of stuff in the pipeline: WMIK Pack2, Snatch, CVRT Pack1 (scimitar/Scorpion), CVRT Pack2 (Samaritan/Sultan), Warrior Pack 2 - massively improved and updated, Challenger 2, DPM 2 - this one's a biggie, and a lot more that are, well, kind of secret wink_o.gif

We've also taken the time to write a few basic tutorials which can be found in the main site menu, more will be added over the coming weeks, requests can be made in our forums for tutorials on specific things to be written, if we have the knowledge and the time we're happy to share it.

Well, we're working on a new version of DPM (version 2) which, to blow our own trumpets, will knock your socks off.

There may be something coming along in the interim though....

As promised, another news blog for all you lot. The last week has seen a rather large increase in the usage of our forums and website. We hope this was due to the release of our last news post and the pictures that appeared with it, and that you all liked what you saw. The feedback has been very encouraging and helpful on all accounts. Cheers guys!

UKF behind the scenes work has been on going - bug squashing is currently a very popular pastime amongst the team, as well as thinking up new toys to play with. One such toy is the updated Warrior pack we last showed images of a long time ago..... continued on our site
