it seems that also that game is as liniar as a guy after 5 viagra pills .

what IS THIS? producers want to give the crowd a filmic expierience (with 2 hours of gameplay a game they do a very decend job i must say) instead of a real game , skill is no issue, the athmospere is ( oh look! those japs are just as stupid as in that movie!! )

wonder how long it will cut the support from the game and move on with yet another MOH game...

The demo is 500 megs, and you play it through in 10 mins, less if you're good. I shit you not, there are two places, an airstrip and a few huts. In 10 minutes you shoot down 20 Jap planes with a .50 cal and mow down 300 Jap infantry with a Thompson (OK, actually maybe just 100). I actually beat a squad to death that was charging me with bayonets, they came in a column so I smacked the first in the face, the second, the third etc. and wasn't hit once myself.

Wow. An eternity downloading and a few minutes of play.

Well... I guess if the game comes on a dvd it will have atleast hmmm..... An hour of gameplay?  

Some nice-effects though. I especially like the shaking effect when you shoot a machinegun. I'm surprised how smooth the game went considering all the eyecandy, though mouse was a little sluggish (long delay from input to reaction).

We're talking about MOHPA that is a completely different game, I don't understand why people have to bring up that OFP and OFP2 rules (in every game thread), the two games are hardly competitors.

if you use winrar to open the pak3 file which is 500+mb you will see theres LOADS of things in there we havent seen, ships, british, sailors, loads of guns including a flamethrower and more.

i wonder if there goign to be releasing more "missions" for the demo, seems pointless in giving us just 10mins of it and to have vertually the whole game contents in the demo download

That was a pretty boring demo, just 10 min as you said.

Everytime you died you just have to wait for a medic to fix you up, not "now your dead, restart and try again".

But I really liked when the guy is standing over you and ask you to get up from the bed, felt a bit like you were the person.

I'll just have to wait until it gets in the stores to check it out more.

I wish I could play this one .  I only have a 64mb video card though and this demo requires 128mb

Well, i went out today and bought a 256mb video card, so I can try this now (no I didn't buy it just for this game ). Had to get the card for Doom 3, this, and some other stuff....plus I can use DXDLL now .

I don´t think it looks bad. I´ll be certainly playing it when it comes out but the series is more like a movie. You go in, have some popcorn and coke, watch a good movie an leave the theatre. The MoH never really made me playing it through more than 3 times with all difficulty settings. It´s a narrow movie you move in a good one but a movie.

Well, I'll take screens later (forgot ). The demo is ok, but the aiming system is really screwy. It was really hard to aim and shoot. After playing for a minute I got used to it though. What is with the 5min load time ! I was able to go to the bathroom, grab a coke, and make myself a sandwich while it loaded !

Serisouly, I used a stop-watch timing how long from double-clicking the icon untill I was in-game. 1 minute and 5 seconds (including the annoying splashscreens you can't skip).

What makes your computer take so long?

Well not just you, alot of people seem to have that long load-times.

I'm not using any RAID-0, just a regular IDE and 2GB RAM here.

Takes a while to load here too,more than a minute for sure,not only that it locks up upon completing the stuff,so I have only tried it 3 times so far.

Looks pretty kewl,real similiar to COD,if your able to drive the vehicles I think the game would be a blast multiplayer

Well, i can't play this demo because when i try to launch i get an error message saying my card is not fully compliant with Direct X 8.1 even though it is listed in the capable cards part of the message and i running DX 9. Go figure

I am thinking this is the OFP gods way of telling me to stay away from anymore MOHAA games and just stick with OFP.
