Guys, I have a problem. It doesn't seem to work with Y2k3 for me. Everytime I enable it while using this great addon, I get a crash to desktop right after double clicking the game's shortcut. So it's only possible to use it without Y2k3 mod for me. Any solution for that? Thanks a lot!

Here is a Windows Media Video weighing in at about 15 Megs that shows off the EnhancedTracers, if you enable them in the .cfg by editing it with a text editor.  (change the 0 to a 1)

The enemies are shooting JAM HD ammo while the player side is shooting default ammo.

Unfortunately, I didn't have FRAPS running when I saw the best demonstration, but this will have to do.

If you post this on a fan-site, please mirror it somewhere else, first.  I don't have unlimited bandwidth.

What I don't get is that the OPFOR are using red tracers, as far as I can tell, and the friendly on the M2 is using green tracers. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? (But then, I'm red-green color-blind like a mutha, so maybe it's my eyes getting it the other way around. lol)

what IS that postbla bla bla thing ? and what it does ?

it gives you that dreamy glare effect that wilco's picture has and some texture improvements i think.

hmm I have 356 Ram P4 2 ghz PC with a geforce 2 card, you think it'll lag me? or even work?

No, geforce2 cannot handle pixel shaders.

The tracer effects look the same to me Uziyaku. rock.gif

You don't see them turning into small particles at the end?

And if nothing else, it is a fine demonstration of how bright images are burned into the night vision.

i've tried multiple nvidia drivers with my GF4Ti42000 and the dll

53.03 = All effects work, sometimes texture errors on the ground

56.64 = All working, no errors

also newer versions (60.72 and above) got a major problem in 32 bit mode and enabled object-reflections,

displays only 4-6 Fps

the effect all worked for me most of the time, but it seems both dxdll and ecp refuse to coop with each other sad_o.gif

THIS IS AMAZING! THX GUYS!

..and it runs very stable - as long as i don't use BAS- or DKM-Addons. These addons cause ctd's when i start ofp even before the BIS-logo appears :-(

Using RHS-Vehicles cause no problem - any hints?

for radeon 8500/9000 users set under Postprocessing menu:

strenght to 0.10 (or different, depends on how you prefer it)

size 1.0

and it will work

Thank you very much Indy!   biggrin_o.gif

It worked like a charm and I now have the joy of utilizing all of it.  So far it works great but I do have a FPS hit, though I haven't messed with my settings to optimize yet.

Once again, this rules and thank you very much Keg and feersum!!!   smile_o.gif
