raedor 8 Posted June 5, 2005 Any chance of remake of original CSLA campaign? both CSLA and CSLA II campaigns are in this Update 1. storywise i do like the CSLA one more, as it is not the standard "bad russians" story. but from the technical point of view the CSLA II campaign is better, particularly the cam scenes are way better. so it is not a total remake of the CSLA campaign included, it is only a bit "overworked", that it is playbale with the Update 1, the new anims and weapon/recoil values. that's at least what i as a betatester saw
gandalf the white 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I've asked this before like twice, but never found an answer, and you're here anyway . will the recoil be like FDF? or the "empty a mag and hope you hit something" style? With that said... Is there any way of making some sort of Fwatch for your mod? per mission there would be a scrip in the init line that changes your DxDll settings accordingly, so desert/forest/sunny/rainy missions get even more atmosphere? MAA 127 Posted June 5, 2005 Update: We replaced east units with new ones. EDIT: I hope that definitely latest betaversion will be released for beta-testers tomorrow. If no bugs will be found that Update1 can be released sometime between 13-17.6. ... EDIT2: fixed date

snypa 0 Posted June 5, 2005 those look good, though I'm thinking that have you discussed with RHS about replacing those AK-74's with RHS ones... And 13-17.5 went already, I hope your meaning that 13-17.6?
CanadianTerror 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I'm not a big fan of having any BIS weapons in there at all.
Nemesis6 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I got a question - Wouldn't it be better to replace the edited version of Vektorboson's heli dust scripts, or at least lower the opacity of the dust? It looks way too deserty for a grass environment.
Thunderbird 0 Posted June 5, 2005 Raedor dust script seems perfect
Airbourne Alchaholic 0 Posted June 5, 2005 I just read the news at ofp.info Looking great! I just hope the date is fixed

Shadow NX 1 Posted June 5, 2005 Very nice units, a few edits here and there and they are even more accurate and im perfectly happy I think the final guys will have the helmet our motorized infantry has, ssh-68 the famous "conehead" About the RHS-AKs, hmm why not, just have to ask the maker what he thinks about this. olemissrebel 0 Posted June 5, 2005 yeah, if you're aiming for your mod to replace things, you might as well replace the weapon, afterall, that's what the player see's the most!
Thunderbird 0 Posted June 6, 2005 CSLA awesome work I love the textures of this Mig-
Airbourne Alchaholic 0 Posted June 6, 2005 That MiG looks awsome with the water stream behind it! If you guys keep to your word then we should be expiriencing it in a few days time! Can't wait!
MAA 127 Posted June 6, 2005 These east units are only placeholders (I think that they are little bit better then old BIS ones ). These soldiers have small polycount (like CSLA soldiers) and they use only few textures so they are good for huge battles without lag I will be happy if we can use RHS great soldiers in next Update ;)
