Was it to different missionmakers for the two parts? The "diary notes" appeared in Juses missions roughly 48hrs before the release so we had no time to write the rest. cam0flage 0 Posted January 17, 2004 I mentioned this in the 1.95b release thread. The improved dogfighting seems to make the AI planes lose speed very quickly when they fly around each other. That are really great units, but would it be possible to add some "Diving-Sounds" while they are under water? Blake 0 Posted January 24, 2004 Saab J35 Draken From FDF Mod homepage: The Saab J35 Draken entered service in 1960 in the Swedish Air Force. Ten years later the Finnish Air Force received first fleet of Drakens as the first export customer. Between 1970-1984 several batches of different Draken types were purchased and assembled by Valmet of Finland. They equipped no.11 and no.21 squadrons with the final Draken being phased out in 2000 with elaborate yellow 'farewell' paint scheme. They gave way to F-18 Hornets as did the MiG-21bis' two years earlier. We play a lot of the FDF mp maps and missions but we run into problems whenever the briefing is in finnish only. Sométimes it´s very hard to find out what you actually have to do in these missions. So pls pls pls add at least an alternative briefing in english language. The mod is great and we really enjoy it but the briefings in finnish really messed up some missions for us non-finnish speakers because we were not able to find out what to do. Maybe a multilanguage briefing in english, finnish would really be better. No critizism but this mod is spread really far and we´d like to be able to understand what we should do. Any chance ? EiZei 0 Posted January 24, 2004 lol..I have a few missions i got at some forum or at LDD that to this day i still got no clue of what i need to do This little list seems to help a lot sometimes: Valtaa/Vallatkaa = conquer Tuhoa/Tuhotkaa = destroy Kaappaa/Kaapatkaa & Varasta/Varastakaa = hijack/steal Puolustakaa = defend But then again, I really hope some finnish mission makers would be arsed to make some decent briefings, its not 2002 anymore. Anyways, there shouldnt be any official/semi-official FDFMOD missions with finnish briefings anymore since english versions of the briefings are now mandatory. EDIT: No comments about the Draken? Greatings and "Great job" FDF-Mod! Ye sure MEDICUS? Lower the flaps, thrust to full activate the afterburner and off you go. I usually have quite a bit of runway to go when I leave ground. One thing about the aircraft in FDFmod though, is there any way to make the F-18 more road landing friendly? I am having real troubles with making it stop when landing on roads. But for the sake of realism make it more user friendly for joystick flyers please. The original OFP planes are nice to steer with a joystick but the FDF planes are close to impossible to fly. BTW Kegetys there is a reason why planes and helis are controlled with a joystick/ sidestick IRL and not with a mouse. You should try it out practice a little and you will love it! I find it much easier to fly and do accurate attacks with mouse & keyboard, plus having to switch between mouse & keyboard and joystick mid-game for me is quite impossible, since my Wingman Force stick is quite huge. (Having two versions of the planes is out of the question, since you would need to place either of those in the mission.
