baddo 0 Posted January 14, 2007 @BEAT!! That pic of the car wreck must be from Tampere just yesterday drove by two times. What is the make&model of that car? Nice pic. Nice pics, everyone else too.
Marcus-Ergalla 0 Posted January 14, 2007 Just two pictures I like very much. They're not from me, but I got permission to show them. Both were made by modd3r, a comrade in school from me And these photos I just made 10 minutes ago: Regards M-E

GoOB 0 Posted January 14, 2007 @ sniperuk02 the lighthouse shot with the boat is excellent. Cracking composition! Two crappy and unsharp nightshots from an extremly windy and rainy Stockholm: After the last shot me and my tripod almost got blown away by the wind.
sniperuk02 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thanks @GoOB, I really like the second picture. The headlights look so blue. I'm bored so I'm playing with macro....

Ranger Bob 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Self Portrait... I guess! Most of the pictures I've taken with my lensbaby have been of friends and family and I don't feel too comfortable posting them here... Well, maybe to elite photographers like Go0b, Supah, Earl and Killagee! Shame, I'm really pleased with some of them! Bennachie Sunset Hehe!

Lateflip 0 Posted January 19, 2007 I'm getting myself a new camera, is 7 megapixels enough if I want some good pictures? I mean good as in good to a natural untrained eye.
GoOB 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Megapixel count is largely irrelevant to image quality, it almost only has a positive impact on print quality. My general advice when buying compacts would be: Go for a cheaper version from known brand (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm etc.) instead for a "top of the line" from a no-name brand. It'll most probably save you alot of hassle and give you higher quality images.
Messiah 2 Posted January 19, 2007 surely megapixels can only go so far - unless you're planning on printing a photo in A1, then 7 megepixels is a little excessive no?
Mr Sarkey 0 Posted January 19, 2007 Was bored this morning, with my Canon 300D:
sniperuk02 0 Posted January 19, 2007 My camera is 9mp, but I use it at 5mp. Can take more pictures and they look the same.
the_shadow 0 Posted January 19, 2007 yeah.... instead of buying a "cheap" 8mp camera from a unknown brand, buy a more expensive 5mp camera from a known brand... that will give you better photos.... and if you want really sharp photos, buy a DSLR... expensive, but a whole different level.... myself i now have both a DSLR and a couple of compacts.... (wichs im trying to sell of so i can buy new lenses for the DSLR oh... and is noone going to comment my photos?
