Hey everybody I have got back to NZ from the last tour of europe, so I will start posting up some of the pics These are from the Red Bull Air Race I had the pleasure of photographing on a day off in london...

Yeah man. f2.8 is awesome for good lowlight and long lenses are the go for seperating your subject from the foreground. But usually you need to stop your lens down 3 stops to get maximum sharpness. the coolest lens for large aperture is 50mm f1.8, which is cheap as chips! the 50mm f1.4 is nice also but three times the price... I saw i guy who had a 300mm f2 lens... It was about as wide as a dinner plate!

I used to have the sigma 70-200 HSM + converter. Great lens mate the only bummer is that it doesnt have VR so you will need a monopod or tripod alot of the time, but the quality of the lens is great

Thanks Black Skorpion I used a nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR + 1.7x Converter, but you ideally need something that is 400mm or more for airshows... One day I might invest in something... if i won lotto I would get this beast!: http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Yo....ED.html muhahaha it will never happen
