Sniper, awesome pics mate! smile_o.gif

Goob, I love the mood in those pics, cool stuff. Did you know the guy in the photo or did you just photograph him randomly?

I always feel slightly nervous taking pictures of public places/people and hence rarely do it. sad_o.gif

The only editing I do is brightness and contrast.

Fantastic pictures everyone!

Here's my humble contribution:

Some pictures of the greatest bird on earth, the Andean Condor. Shot in Colca Canyon in south Peru, the 2nd deepest canyon in the world if I'm not mistaken.

I know they're a bit blurry but it aint easy to get a sharp pic of a 60 km/h flyby at 7 in the morning wink_o.gif

Shot with EOS350D w/ Tamron 18-200

edit: I don't really like what Photobucket has done to my pics...any hints for better results? I'm a total newb when it comes to post-production sad_o.gif

Any tips on night time photos? I tried some earlier and they turned out blurry and noisey.

Use manual focus and a high aperture level, don't trust autofocus! And 50% of my shots still arent perfectly focussed smile_o.gif The last shot was shot at 30 seconds to get the 350D's noise reduction to kick in.

Inspired by Tool - been listening to Lateralus a lot lately - in fact I think I've just about blown my computer speakers. Good thing I recently found a good job biggrin_o.gif

Black then white are all I see in my infancy.

Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me.

Lets me see there is so much more

And beckons me to look through to these infinite possibilities.

As below, so above and beyond, I imagine

Drawn outside the lines of reason.

Push the envelope. Watch it bend.

Hey guys, I've wanting a DSLR for a long time, and today I came across this:

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog....&catid=

been researching it for a little while, and it seems like a very sweet camera for the price.

-Comparable to the Nikkon D50

-Can use AA batteries

-Uses SD memory cards, which I have

-No image stabilizer, but I have a tripod.

-Wide variety of lenses.

Just wanting some knowledgeable advice, should I go for it?
