edc 0 Posted November 8, 2003 I'm 14 and live in Wichita, KS, and do pretty much nothing other than computers(games, programming, etc.). Â The only thing that would really be a extracurricular activity, would be scholars bowl, that my mom made me do. Â It seems to be OK, but I'd rather by by my computer. So, pretty much I have absolutely no life outside of computers.
Mister 5 0 Posted November 8, 2003 16, Junior year of HS, resident of Tampa, Florida. Dead sexy latino . Current interests include playing ofp, wake boarding, jet skiing, hanging around with my friends and their punk rock band, and causing many a ruckus. I have no idea what to do with my life, perhaps something in economics, cinema, or gourmet food (variety, eh?). Attempting to save $ for a motorcycle, but it's a long way off and I already have a car. edit: also enrolled in flight school.

der bastler 0 Posted November 8, 2003 24, studying mechanical engineering at university of Hannover, Germany. Subjects: "Micro Mechatronics" (design, production and assembly of MEMS) and "Robotics" (multi body systems, control, automation). Diploma: next year. PhD: afterwards. Inactive reservist (military driver, sentry & security services; i.e. standard german infantryman). Semi-active musician (trumpet, guitar). I still want to write my own game. During the 90s I learned Pascal, simple x86-ASM and C, studied Ralf Brown's interrupt table and messed around with VESA --but DOS became obsolete, and DirectX was ...awful (pointer to a pointer of methods of an object? ). Today I develop in MATLAB due to university projects. But next year I'll return --there's so much to do regarding Linux's game market.
Harnu 0 Posted November 8, 2003 16, Junior in high school. (11th year, 12'th if you count kindergaten, schooling for you Euros ) Want to be a Marine or teach, or possibly something in the gaming industry. Currently enrolled in: Football (American!) Live in the Chicago burbs. You're dead Hellfish... Best course this year: US History. Our teacher is kick ass, he points out some of the more controversial points and such. And allows us to get into tangets relavent to current events. I.E. We had a gun control debate, and a death penalty debate a while back.
The Frenchman 0 Posted November 8, 2003 Name: Thomas Age:14 (yeah thats right, I'm the freshman frenchman! Â ) Hobbies: As for school I play the trumpet. I've been in Jazz Band for 3 years and I plan to play it for the next 4 years. I am the only freshman trumpet player to get into Synphonic Winds(the most advanced band at the HS), which is good because the one person I admire most (girl ) and the band director's daughter is in the Trumpet section, so we never get yelled at. Â Â And Jazz band is the best. Especially since no one is in the school when practice starts and we get a 20 minute break to do anything in the school, un watched. This is when my comrades become the evil socialist army of the night by playing Hackey Sack infront of the empty main office doors and using home made slings to see how far a bouncy ball can go down a empty hallway. Area of Operations: North Tonnawanda (near Buffalo, NY aka the American Siberia Goals: To form a Socialist party that takes over Student Consul and to change the school's web page from Geocities to Lycos! I wanted to take German in HS but they gave me 2 studyhalls!

Tovarish 0 Posted November 8, 2003 21, (31 more days) and recently moved out with the love of my life. On weekdays I try hard not to flunk out of college (3rd year Computer Engineering), and on weekends I slave at Loblaws (Low Blows) in order to be able to afford tuition and my share of rent & crud, since it's impossible to get a decent student loan around here if you can't prove that you don't need it
