Oh, I almost forgot: Can you try to make ALL destroyed vehicles light sources (for night)? It´s no big deal if you can´t, but.... smile_o.gif

Great mod, i have a lot of fun hiding during the battles, only to enjoy the fireworks ;)

If those bugs - rearm and smokegrenade - disappeared in v1.42 can not came back in v1.43 because I did not modified config.bin. But I have to admit that support file's config.bin - Blood and INQ weapon - not fixed. SO if you use them bug still alive. sad_o.gif

Splendid work goldmember!!!

To add more realism i think that one thing is missing,

The explosion smoke curtain get modified by the rotor of choppers eheheheh but i don´t think it´s possible!!!!

but it would be amazing!!!

PS.: Pls notify us as soon as Dynamic Range support is available smile_o.gif

I always expect to see that, smoke being swirled by the air movement, it's one of the things that is a must for OFP2.

Wouldnt u by any chance be interested in releasing or posting the rearm\smoke grenade fix for the alternative (blood\blood+inq)config.bin files?

Hey gold member, have you listened to the sound I was telling you about yet? Did you understand what I meant? I just downloaded the "inq weapon's pack" and noticed the sound may have originated from there (the sound of debris falling after a grenade explodes) if you add this but make it a bit louder, I know it is sure to raise the realistic levels, as this sound is always heard after an explosion. You may have to keep it's duration short so it dos'nt blend into the flame crackling. I’m starting to wonder just how talented are you and if there is anything you can't simulate. I thank you in advance, keep up the excellent work:D

opps I forgot to mention that timing is everything, you can get this right or you can get it prefect. For reference sake, it is usually heard about 1.5 seconds after the explosion has took place, not during the explosion for obvious reasons. wink_o.gif

OFP ligh source not suited to simulates that effect you want. So If there is no fire or flame these light looks extreamly unreal. For consolation burning debris will give light off in dark too. I can settle this for you. smile_o.gif

Realistic explosion MOD v1.43

Modified explosion effect (shell,rocket and other) in config.bin and much more!

changes to version 1.42

-----------------------

- dustwave effect

- dead body effect

(soldiers fall out of vehicles - car, truck and air vehicle class only - during explosion, and they smoke and burn)

- burning debris give off light in dark

These new effects can be turn on/off in exp_init.sqs file. New Blood and INQ mod support config.bin files also available on

my briefcase.

I did not like the first versions of your mod wink_o.gif

But now after manny versions I gave it a look again and...

hell it is good now!!!

You should put some screenes in here to make people interrested!

Only problem: It does not work with FDFMOD right?

If not could you implement it because I always use the FDFMOD?!

You have that problem too?

I would also like to use FDF mod all the time for the hi-res GUI and spaciuous editor, but right now I have to choose between explosions and FDF. sad_o.gif

And once again...the explosions...are...beautiful.

hey GOLD MEMBER, I downloaded the inq+blood config it all works great, but im sad that you did not include the sound i was hoping to here. the C4 in the inq pack sounds good but the sound of debris falling cuts out to fast instead of the sound fading away.

ps. i like both explosion sounds (C4 explosion vs GMO explosion sound)

but both has it's pros and cons, the GMO exploxsion sound has a better start but the C4 explosion sound has a better ending.

if you can combine the to, it will make everyone very happy

Or think about that HUGE explosions on "A-Day" in bagdad(shock and awe).

Is it possible to code it for a special weapon like the LGB´s?

Those are gas bombs they set out at airshows so when the A10s fly over they look a little better. I should know, I've seen the display myself smile_o.gif

I do not forget your sound suggestion, but need more time gather proper source sound to make it. Exploding airplane must be harm, as other vehicle's explosion. In which version you noticed that?

Thanks god those picture is fake, so I don't have to find reason why couldn't I make it.

The LGB´s explosion can not be changed in config.bin, but "possible" to write a script that simulates something like that. First need a REAL picture

Sorry, I don´t wanted to say that those explosions are real LGB´s.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to make those huge explosions.

LGB´s could be used for, or maybe scripting a new bomb/tomahawk.

When using "Real Exposions Mod", I can refuel at every vehicle.
