Best new unit models

This is different than the best addons sticky above. (Denoir, please don't close   )

I want to get peoples opinions (and screenies) of the best new unit models.

I don't mean reskins like UCE, I mean all new soldier models, like the following:

- Cassandra's female soldier

- New units in the HK packs

- Motorcyle soldier in STT's Kawasaki addon

- FBI agent and Terr2 soldier from Adammo

- RAN troop from ADF mod

- Soar pilots from BAS

You know what I mean - what I am look for is info to make a list so we havent missed any new units. Also as a refernce for modmakers and reskinners.

Frandsen's U.S. Marines are my favorite so far.

After that would be Operation Code Blue's U.S. Army soldiers in desert uniforms followed by Mailman's excellent Spetsnaz addons... oh and after that, Bibmi's Royal Marine teaser.

They are all very good soldier addons and have custom models (not just retextured BIS models).

Blinky dog's amazon pack#1 and Capt Moore's droids - cos it shines the path whereby u can create new figures instead of just pure skinning.

Nam pack soldiers look quite nice, unfortunately it costs higher polygon count.

actually, the models only have a 200-300 difference in poly count with the normal ofp soldiers, and a lot of computers have got better since the BIS models were made

Oh damn! I totally forgot about the SEB NAM2 pack!! By far I think the NAM2 pack is THE BEST. I have not had any problems with the polycount either. I've played massive missions where I still got fairly good framerates. But if you do have framerate problems, there are many creative things a mission maker can do to minimize these problems (such as making it where enemy units only appear when the player is within a certain area which saves on CPU usage).

Yes... Nam pack is the best so far. Close follow-ups are Op Code Blue, those British teasers, and those upcoming Marpats from Suchy. Haven't tried any of the new Spetznaz, though. Maybe I should...

Just because they are very good, alot of units in one pbo and they are very different in style between the different sides.

Canadian Troops from OperationNorthStar Team are my favorite now and maybe forever.

Invasion 1944's troops are cool, in the demo I downloaded. High quality work from those guys.

My favorites are HK pack and Frandsens Marines. I would say Operation Code Blue but they still haven't released those soldiers. Don't they understand how bad people want them? Oh and MAF 82nd Airborne desert units.

everything released so far has been completely superb in my opinion and up to the standards.....

think if people had MORE interest in canadian military like they should, it would be the most popular mod bc they have endless high quality stuff

Actually Operation Code Blue did release their older versions of their soldiers which are still fairly good. Just download their demo under their core files. They have good custom sounds and good textures. The newer versions however aren't as fat, and have hands that are properly proportioned amongst other things. But we have to wait for those. But until then I think their exhisting soldier addons are very good and alot of fun to use with some of the desert maps using Christoph's Middle East soldier addon to simulate the Taliban.

I think once there is a full campaign to use them in there will be more interest.

As far as units go, I'd say the Nam pack has the best looking units.
