Try to change the properties of the image file, like optimizing it which will make the file size different. Use tinypng DOT com if you do not have an image editing program.
Change the file name as well before trying to upload and replace it.

You may also need to delete the local copy of the paa file so that the game can once again download the image for the unit.

Hi, my squad do not have an unit emblem in game, the emblem was working pretty well before. I can't find how to solve this problem, i tried everything changing the png with other emblem, even i delete and create the unit again!  
I though it was the server where we play together but, nope.  The results were the same, no unit emblem in our shoulders, vehicles, nothing. No unit emblem in game... 

Everything was working good, i have no idea what happened to the emblem.

(Same unit emblem requierements when i tried with other logos  512X512, MAX. 300KB PNG)


In other words, the emblem dissapeared from one day to another, the whole squad can't see it.

For the unit logo to appear, it will sometimes also depend on the server you are on as some servers can be set to not allow for display of the unit logos and still in some cases there might be a bug or issue preventing the logo from appearing.

 

Double check to see if you can get on a server that is displaying other Unit logos for other players. If you still have the issue in such a case, send me a PM and I will try to help troubleshoot.

I check other units and the unit logo of the guy on the little bird works well, same server that my unit play.

Hello, we seem to have problems with adding a units server using its DNS name instead of raw IP form. Any way to work around this, or do we have to use the IP ?

"Games servers by domain name instead of just IP address" was a feature that was planned to look into, but eventually the project got put on hold and there is not a current plan for new/continued development at this time. By IP address is the current functionality.

Adding Servers to my unit's page comes up with "could not reach server" - Server IP and Port put in correctly, use the join port, and tried even using the query port (5042) - server is up and can even get it to show up in server browser, and game tracker.

 

Also, using the search function for Rank 1 unit members does not work, have 185 pages of members, yet putting their Bohemia name in the search field will not bring them up. I have to be on the same page as the person I am looking up for the search function to work, 185 pages, takes a lot of time to find someone.

Experiencing the same with our units server, from one day to the other, the server is unreachable through Units, but able to join the server if you use direct connect in the launcher.

Though ours doesn't show up in the server browser either.

If you are able to do so, using the default ports will resolve the issue you are describing for its online status on the Arma 3 Units page. There is an issue that sometimes prevents the Arma 3 Units page from displaying the proper online or offline status of an Arma 3 server if the server is using a custom port other than the default port which is listed on this page: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3_Dedicated_Server

 

Unfortunately there is not an eta of when or if this particular issue would be resolved.

It does work. But it is lacking certain features (filters).

I browsed it a bit, but it is too much hassle.  Most units seem abandoned with broken links, 1 member trolls, or have undisclosed player lists.  There are 73,935 units and still 2,718 with my filters.  It's like digging through a landfill for jewels.

It is complete ******. Why do i Need an Emblem when it is all About to Play with friend?

When I try to put my emblem on it uploads the file correctly then shows a red bar at the side of the screen with only half of the message "We have encountered an error. If the probl..." showing.

Is there anyway to fix this? I have tried on chrome, edge and mobile and they all do the same thing even with different emblems.
