Gimpy 11 Posted June 14, 2016 Indeed the AK74M Universal Upgrade Kit would fit better in RHS than a weapon that is not really done or ready. Please please please.
BDC 47 Posted June 15, 2016 Post it here, including the mission file: http://feedback.rhsmods.org/view_all_bug_page.php Hi RedPhoenix, Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the mission is a dedicated server-only running type of thing and is a bit large. Is there any way I can get in private contact with you and show you on my end? I wouldn't mind uploading the mission to you for you to check out but it's not a simple, small mission if that's what you were by chance assuming it'd be. Thanks, B

Tachyon. 3 Posted June 16, 2016 - Salutations to all !!! When I enabled the USAF and AFRF on the expansion menu and click OK then restart button. After the game reboots, went back on expansion menu and there I saw another USAF and AFRF listed below. Is this normal? Should I also enabled those two? Thank you. -

I noticed it on 1.60 but it seems to be fixed on ArmA RC/Dev branch see https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/140837-development-branch-changelog/page-40#entry3040615 Fixed: The inputAction script command was not working with the action menu open (it now accepts a new input priority level ANY (0) as a part of the fix) - Salutations to all !!! Belbo 462 Posted June 16, 2016 Is there a way to check if a player has activated the throw disposables-option in the rhs menu? #edit: Additionally, there is a duplication issue if you remove a disposable launcher manually with the option enabled. The empty launcher will be spawned twice.
wildcatbridge 377 Posted June 16, 2016 small pair of questions. 1) is the MICH high cut still used by US SF? 2) Your Russian reconnaissance troops, are they meant to represent Russian special forces...or are they like the bit between sf and regular troops? mistyronin 1181 Posted June 16, 2016 1) is the MICH high cut still used by US SF? Yes. 2) Your Russian reconnaissance troops, are they meant to represent Russian special forces...or are they like the bit between sf and regular troops? It depends on what's your definition of SF. But the 45th Recon VDV would be a unit similar to the USMC Force Recon, that it's considered by a lot of people as a Special Operations unit although its not part of the US SOCOM. You can call them "special purpose" if you like, as some of our Russian followers are quite sensitive on the issue. If you are asking if they equal to the US Army SF, then no (in the US Armed Forces, SF is a term mainly used for the US Army SF, aka Green Berets). The Green Berets mainly focus on training foreign armies / forces and unconventional warfare.

Thanks very much, to be fair i don't mind calling them whatever the Russians want to call them (won't spell it right though) but yeah trying to work out how they would be used in a conventional warfare scenario. So i'm guessing for the Russians special purpose means that if a task comes up in their AO (for example this fuel dump needs blowing up) then they would be sent, but more specialist tasks the SF would be called in? war_lord 934 Posted June 16, 2016 To be clear, "Special Forces" is a bit of a loaded term in military terminology. In the United States it refers exclusively to the unit popularly known as the "Green Berets", and the generic term for special purpose units is "Special Operations Forces". In Russia and the other Post-Soviet states the term used is, of course "Spetsnaz". So you have to be careful with the term, because in Russia and the US it's more of a specific term then it is in European system armies.

war_lord 934 Posted June 16, 2016 My point being VDV Recon aren't Special forces even if they do some special mission roles.

Broseph_Stalin90 72 Posted June 17, 2016 With the GREF addon, do you plan on expanding more 'Armaverse' factions? I feel the AAF would be a good thing to make in a modern day setting.

icarus86 37 Posted June 17, 2016 define "armaverse" faction...? He means nato, csat, etc.
Tachyon. 3 Posted June 17, 2016 - I see. Okay I will try that. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By the way, the M1A1 and M1A2 tanks have some issues because sometimes their movements wiggle or sway to the other directions and do some unbelievable stunts like when you press A or D key and then the tank rotates and then suddenly it goes fast like it has some kind of a nitrous system in it...... then tank will throw backwards or forwards and sometimes when I did NOT able to control the sudden speed, it will flip down. And also the commander's CITV does not have a range on it to identify the distance of the enemy's position. Hope to see this fix soon. Thank you. -
PuFu 4600 Posted June 17, 2016 unlikely then for "armaverse"all bug reports should go to feedback.rhsmods.org, one issue per ticket
veloxz 15 Posted June 17, 2016 For GreenFor: Even though it's a "critical matter" it would fit into the context of RHS Escalation if you would add Ukrainian forces and the eastern separatists / DNR forces. Just my two cents..

[ha]boris 49 Posted June 17, 2016 Several times asked, but the answer never received. Maybe now :) You want to fix approach ironsight American weapons? To match the zoom of the eye ironsight the approximation of Russian weapons. I spent the tests, and I can give a complete list of the bad weapons. They also have a new faction GREF. Thank you.
