USSRsniper 0 Posted July 11, 2014 Well I guess this is a win for Germany. This is what Brazilians thought before losing with 7-1.... :D
JdB 151 Posted July 11, 2014 This is what Brazilians thought before losing with 7-1.... :D That's because only Brazil thought that Brazil was a world class team ;) They thought that dressing up some average players in the famous shirt of the Seleção would make all of them Superman equal to Garrincha and Pelé. rakowozz 14 Posted July 12, 2014 That's because only Brazil thought that Brazil was a world class team ;)They thought that dressing up some average players in the famous shirt of the Seleção would make all of them Superman equal to Garrincha and Pelé. :icon_lol: That's true. As a brazilian, I must say our conversations over here haven't been this funny in a while. The amount of memes mocking Fred... And still, after 7-1, everyone's rooting for Germany. Go, Deutschland! Now, don't score more than 3 goals on us Saturday, will ya? Haha. And don't be hard on your goalie! Penalty shootouts are a lottery!
slatts 1978 Posted July 12, 2014 Its a few weeks old but still interesting regarding penalties

I knew they were brainwashed as fuck, but to the level where the media create alternative reality? North Koreans are amazing people, not only did they manage to win this WC, but they also managed to get Portugal into the final. Now thats what I call generousity :) All hail Kim Jong Un, the Rising Sun of Asia and all World, may it shine upon us eternally :D

Apres match :p ---------- Post added at 02:13 ---------- Previous post was at 02:10 ---------- Sorry for double post, cant edit on the mobile site but heres one for the Germans
nettrucker 142 Posted July 14, 2014 It was a boring tactical final. No one opened up. If somebody would have scored early on . . . the game would have been lot more interesting. It was time for Germany to win after all the past editions were they came really close but then never made it. Great gol by the Germans.
negah 26 Posted July 14, 2014 Well I didnt find it boring, for me it was very thrilling. Germany dominated the match because they had purely offensive tactics and Argentina counted on counter attacks. And man they had some awe inspiring counters which looked even more dangerous since german defense was pretty thin. But whatever, I cant describe how I feel right now, Its just awesome. Big Thanks to our team!!!
Janez 532 Posted July 14, 2014 Congrats to Germany and Klose for most world cup goals.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted July 14, 2014 It was a nice match, a little too long for me (we were waiting to eat...). But Argentina played better than before IMHO, but as usual, Germany won at the end :)

Tonci87 163 Posted July 15, 2014 Am I the only one who thinks that Neuer deserved a red card after his jump kick?
2142general 10 Posted July 15, 2014 Am I the only one who thinks that Neuer deserved a red card after his jump kick? Nah, it was a risky challenge, but he didn't do it to hurt Palacio.
ProfTournesol 956 Posted July 15, 2014 Am I the only one who thinks that Neuer deserved a red card after his jump kick? I do. The referee was really nice with the Germans, several times.
negah 26 Posted July 15, 2014 I do. The referee was really nice with the Germans, several times. The referee was also nice to Argentina several times: Kramer was hit twice (first time might be a penalty) hard and had to be replaced. Schweinsteiger was also hit twice in a row each time by a player with a yellow card. At least one of those cases should have led to the red card (the one when Schweinsteiger had his face "renovated").
slatts 1978 Posted July 15, 2014 Nope. He did what any good keeper worth his gloves would do. Clatter the man after got the ball. He won't come for it as quickly next time. :D
