Gunter Severloh 4065 Posted December 10, 2014 Low textures are because of the Lite version, full version wont have low textures, your best bet is to do manual install imo, and you need that @IF folder, you may have the @IF Lite version idk but if your getting low textures on soldiers and such that can be your reason. IFA3 Co25 Op Ravenous I am happy for it to be published or held on any other websites. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=355515468 Required Mods This mission requires that you have the Iron Front and the D-Day DLC mods for Arma 3 (either full or FREE lite versions) installed to play this. This mission uses the Staszow Iron Front map. Tasks Your tasks are to move from the FOB area to clear the 4 forward locations of enemy forces. You will also be required to rescue a POW captain. Furthermore, you will be tasked with finding secret intelligence files, which will reveal the location of an enemy spy, whom must be found and eliminated. Then you should move to the village area to destroy enemy assets, including PAK40s, Tiger II panzer and a communication radio mast. Mission Resources and High Command Optional In this CO-OP/SP mission, you play a US 25 man combined arms assault team, operating on the Staszow area in 1944, fighting German forces. The team consists of a 9 and a 6 man US Army squads. In addition, there is a sherman tank, with 5 playable slots, which infantry can ride on the back if required (under high command if needed). There is also a 1 man flyable P47 support aircraft, with service assets near its airfield. (under high command if needed) Furthermore there is a 2 man playable mortar/artillery team, whom also have access to a towable anti-tank if needed. (under high command if needed). Lastly, there is a 2 man sniper/spotter team, for recon' purpose and elimination of HVTs. (under high command if needed). Virtual Ammo System The FOB, has a limited virtual ammo system box, which has explosives, back packs, static weapons and limited, none respawnable vehicles, including a halftrack. Enemy Forces Enemy forces consist of elements of Waffen SS and Heer, are operating a defensive strategy in the AO. Expect upto 2 companies in the AO, with an extremely well defended area around the village, including 3 PAK40 anti tank guns, several MG42 nests, mortar, entrenched infantry and a tank of unknown type. Zeus and Mortar Support It's important to note here, that only the team leader, of Sadist squad, has Zeus control of Iron Front in Arma 3 assets only and has radio support control of artillery if needed. Paradropping Also, please not that at the spawn start, players have the option of paradropping into a selected map position if needed. Revive When players die, the will need to be revived by a medic only. Alternatively, they can suicide and will respawn back at the US starting base. Teamseak 3 Radio Plugin Support (Acre/TFR) - Optional Finally, the mission admin/lead when logged in, can change the mission parameters to suit their needs. This also includes AI caching at different distances to help with game performance, options to run ACRE or Task Force Radio Mods. Question for Steam version of ARMA-3-IF Mod; I have everything installed and working properly, as there were no error messages during any of the installs. However, during the D-Day opening mission the plunger and one explosive disappears when I try to equip. Just wanted to make sure this is an issue with the mod, and not my install...not much mention of it except on page 104-105 of this thread (roughly). Same thing with the German campaign mode (ENG); I can get to the mission where it opens up with you in the back of a truck and towing a PAK...although no Pak model appears and I can't move it into position when the time comes. Is this also a mod error? One more question; assuming the campaigns and official missions are porked for now, where do I place the mission files (I play SP only for the moment)? I downloaded a few from Steam Workshop (Blitzkrieg) but it defaults to normal ARMA-3, not the IF mod. So I DLed a few mission, but no readme so I have no idea where to place the .ifa files. You should still be able to locate the mission ingame and play it, just make sure you have IFA3 and required mods running when you start the game. So I DLed a few mission, but no readme so I have no idea where to place the .ifa files. Cant answer your other questions, probably bugs in the missions themselves, but the .iFA files are vanilla Iron front mission files, those missions are Arma2CO versions not Arma3, so you wont be able to play them unless you have the IFA2 version of IF. Also if you want to play those missions that are in the .IFA format then you need to rename it to .pbo as Arma2CO cant read .IFA, only vanilla Iron front can. When I select that mission, it starts with ARMA-3 and those models...is there something I'm not doing to start in IF? It's a SteamWorkshop mission mod, so not sure if it needs to go into a different mission folder to get it to start in IF? How about the D-Day and Iron Front Campaigns; are they still broken? I just can't get that damn detonator/plunger into my pack and there is no PAK behind my truck in the Eastern Front campaign (2nd or 3rd mission). Thanks again! drdetroit 77 Posted December 18, 2014 If you can go into the editor and successfully add a unit without error's, then you know it's installed correctly. I finally got mine working via manual install, although the IF campaigns are porked and you will not get past the first mission or two (can't use the detonator during D-Day landing and there is no PAK during the 2nd-3rd Fatherland mission). Vanilla grenades and those from other mods will drop to the feet of the character you are playing when you attempt to throw them. Could you have a look into this? Thank you. I have the dlc installed, the Lib_DLC_1 folder has 931 mb but the patch fails =/ IFA3 works alright, but I can´t use any of the missions or vehicles nor weapons from the dlc =P I´ve tried both digital and steam version patchs... When i selected the right update file(steam in my case) it worked(almost still had 3 errors). I see you have tried both digital/steam version, maybe something is screwed up in your dlc installation! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really like this game but the first thing i noticed is that the weapon sounds are quite poor. The first sound i heard and really disliked was the garand empty clip ejection sound, it is really bad so i decided to change it and this is what i ended up with(first original sound then new sound): If anybody is willing to help me make a sound mod then send me a pm.
