But in the short term no, I'm not doing anymore alternate configs due as once RH updates his shit I'm going to get rid of his config. I just don't have the care anymore to maintain thousands of entries, while similar is quite a lot to manage. I just honestly don't have the care to use magazines from every mod, and quite honestly wish JAM was back then it'd be simple, stupid rather than five million ammo versions to worry about. ---------- Post added at 14:00 ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 ---------- Been trying the Open Tip Match Boat Tail and it's not killing off the CSAT or AAF targets as expeditiously as the normal 7.62 but I think that's just normal as headshots are good as always but torso shots require three compared to the two for 7.62. Even when adjusted (like my values are, I will post them on your topic Spartan0536) for twenty inches the .300 is "okay" but I think I'll add it anyway and see where it goes with people. EricJ 765 Posted December 27, 2014 :D Yeah usually game-wise it's around the average of two shots and that's it... so I guess it's just not as potent as reg'lar 7.62. I did however test drive (and thanks to 19 AAF participants) I can say the newer 5.56 values are still as great as they've always been. Some headshots were good (though values adjusted for the IAR's barrel) and on average took three solid shots and they were down, kaput. I think the difference I see is the actual velocity compared to the 5.56 versus the .300 Blackout. It's a good round but I don't feel game-wise it's a good combat round, for those times when you need to hammer out rounds because the enemy is rolling up on you and just doesn't deliver the oomph that the other rounds do. Granted I've always preferred the Mk318 SOST over the others, which should perform as good as you're used to. Also I found a couple good quality A2 PEQ-15 models by themselves so those will be added as well to the mix as a couple more accessories. I'll probably add the grippod that's standard on Brit L85s and adjust the anim to match it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
EricJ 765 Posted December 28, 2014 Finally managed to test the subsonic ammo and I do say that this is the honey of the .300 rounds. Did a test on Insurgency and was able to play "Urban Sniper" quite successfully as it didn't "announce" your presence like normal ammo does suppressed (found out the hard way too on that one) and also managed to get a few kills with it as well. Matter of fact I didn't alert the guy I didn't see at first but still got him. So yeah, the Subsonic ammo while less "powerful" works well and probably going to be a standard load compared to the normal ammo for suppressed sniper ops. I wish I was smarter on configs, as I'd try and start putting things together, but I think I have mental retardation when it comes to writing code. Reading, I can follow 60% of the time, but not writing. But yeah I think so far Spartan0536's ammo is "close" enough as his shit is still good. I've also been meaning to tweak the Ultimaxes since my formula to Spartan036's formula is working great to add/subtract values to get as realistic performance possible. EricJ 765 Posted December 29, 2014 Okay got the Ultimaxes ammunition tweaked specifically for those particular weapons. So the short barreled (13-inch) version has it's own values as well as the regular (20-inch) and thinking about redoing the mags for the Old 30-round version as well since it would be a good idea. More often than not the 20-inch versions use the appropriate entries (I think the closest the Singapore miltiary uses would be the M855A1 so I'll just go with that) for Spartan0536's ammo to through those barrels. So roughly tomorrow I'll get the update out and then... not sure, it's still the holiday season and then it's back to "work". Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Enough to keep busy but overall not wanting to spend a whole lot of energy doing modding for now. Which is kinda why I did the .300 Blackout and nothing more heavy right now. Probably though, but I think the Specialist Military Arms topic by blazenchamber has an ACR or two though if my mind serves me correctly. But if I can find a reliable method of getting a hold of the guy on TurboSquid then I'll see about the Masada though as it works as it should and looks pretty decent also. I got a few more things to knock out and more than likely tomorrowish or Mondayish I can get to adding the GL versions of the M4s so that's not going to be too difficult. But again if things work well I can integrate the Masada into the pack as well. Though I will warn you (and realistically it doesn't make any difference) it is set to eject to the left by design, so no if it gets in then it's actually the way the model functions. Okay next up is checking on the ACR if I can use it, and the two GL versions (M203) for the M4s. I saw a good picture of the M27 on Facebook today and snatched that so I'm going to try and do some texture edits to reflect that image that was on HK's official page.
