Two Dogs 12 Posted April 14, 2014 Two Dogs: Annoying wiki formatting on scripts is annoying. I'll fix that later unless someone else gets there first! Been busy too. Taking out quotes got rid of the ctd error, but I can't get anything to work. Nor do I know how to even test. If you get some time to put up an example, it would be appreciated. I love this mod. highhead 20 Posted April 14, 2014 Guys, am I right in thinking you've made some changes or progress on the weather front ?I'm getting some odd (bad weather all the time!) effects on our public missions and I was curious if it's something that I need to re-configure in the editor. Normally we get the random weather effect - 1 in 5 or so it's bad weather.. Seems to be - Bad weather each restart now... ? SJ Hey mate, yeah weather module got some loving. Try replacing the module and reset the weather please. Actually it could "just" be that the weather is now actually synced (more or less) correctly upon missionstart (since the new forceWeatherChange command its working better, but still not perfect). Sanchez Milsim 70 Posted April 15, 2014 Hi, Im having issue, sometimes when i join our dedicated server. I press alive button and options duplicate. Look at minute 25 of this video. friznit2 350 Posted April 15, 2014 This is a known defect that is outside of our control to fix at the moment (it's either BIS related or a third party script we rely on, not 100% sure which). friznit2 350 Posted April 15, 2014 Setting up the war room is not mission related - you just have to follow the instructions on the server set up page carefully, including the instructions how to test it's working. The database rpt error is very likely caused by the same issue - it can't find the database. Missions will not register on the database for the first 5 mins or so. friznit2 350 Posted April 15, 2014 All3n - not sure I can help, we're only learning our way around Zeus as well at the moment. I think Highhead has had some success so he may be able to give you some pointers. Goblin - map locations (and the associate whitelist/blackist constraint markers aka TAORs) are read during pre-init, so moving markers by init or post-init script won't have any effect. You'd need to understand the load order for ALiVE to be able to autoplace TAOR markers at random locations. It's too complicated to describe here and indeed may not be possible (init orders and load orders is something the team has struggled with massively as seems to change in every patch). Obviously followed the directions fine since it worked for a bit. Anyway to purge it and have the map link start over? Edit: I just deleted and redid the server on the WarRoom.
