Diaoyu Islands is a 25.6km x 25.6km terrain project.(N25.97,E123.427 to N25.7,E123.716, in China East Sea)

Based on real terrain geographic information data, created for RV4 ArmA3.

Islands specifics is purely fictitious and any similarity is purely coincidental.

Alpha does not expire today :) It was only Alpha Lite which would be shut down, but it does not support mods anyway (and we have decided to let it run until Beta release). Alpha simply transitions to Beta next Tuesday.

This island looks really awesome! Excellent choice of setting, fitting the Arma 3 default lighting configuration :cool:

Looks great, too bad you can't dig tunnels in the RV engine. Would be great for landing scenarios!

just downloaded and launched "With other mods" tried to view in the editor and i get this error:

no entry 'bin\config.bin/RscTitles/SplashFromz/Picture.type'.

The is land is launched, It shows up in the map list. You can place a player unit. But once you click on preview i get this error.

P.S. i do have the african foliage mod added to "addons" folder as instructed..

However, when no other mods were running the island loaded just fine. testing now to see what mod is interfering.

Thanks for the support and approve of each individual, I didn't do a lot of work on this island, just show the power of the new RV engine. Really look up to it. Well done BIS! thank you!

I may update this work after Beta release and even next, so no worry the possible changes.

@Scorch052 Of course, thanks for the uploadï¼

@Lordprimate I didn't show any error, Perhaps the development version change something caused this error, I did not participate in the development version, so what's your version and what other addons you use?

However, this error will not affect anything important, it was just a small 8s hint tip in game after entering.

If confirmed as a bug, I'll fix it in next update.

wow, at some pictures, there is nearly hard to describe, where the real image or ingame image are. Awesome work, so with upcoming bow addon, we can make a far cry mod on arma 3 engine! Woo!

Em, very few structures in this phase, In the real world, these also are uninhabited islands with few man-made features.

The recent version of the Vistor 3 PE (BI Tools v2.51 for ArmA2) does not directly support to use many ArmA3 buildings, vegetation or rocks,

This may also a reason of no other new islands present since ArmA3 Alpha release.

This project has much room for improvement, just wait the new version of BI development tools.

If these islands are fit for any type of scenario, according to the needs of the community to carry out the details of later stages of development is feasible. So feedback is important.
