SweetFX in Arma 3

It matters because SweetFX doesn't work that well on windows 8, especially 8.1.

Just found out why:

Q: I keep getting an error when using DX11 on Win 8.1 RTM?

A: The dxgi.dll needs to be updated to support some DXGI changes that Win8.1 introduced. Future versions of the injector should have Win8.1 support. You can still use DX9 games with SweetFX under Win8.1, and some DX10/11 games still work on Win8.1. RadeonPro also works.

I was asking myself if i can play arma online with sweetfx on, is it interpreted as cheat by the game? Do i risk my id-key? I don't wanna be banned for a simple visual improvement.

Me and a pal have been playing online with sweetfx with no trouble, Can't play without it. Don't think it is an issue..

Yes, it is true . SweeFx reduce your FPS but it also depends on your settings.

I tried this myself (well eFX only at the moment, when I couldnt get SweetFX to work at all) and I get the eFX logo at the start. Unfortunately nothign seems to happen in Arma3. Anyone got any advice ? Does it need SweetFX AND eFX at the same time ?

I haven't had any luck with any injection DLLs as of yet.

If anyone is having trouble using SweetFX, try using Radeon Pro: http://www.radeonpro.info/

BTW it works with all GFX cards, not just AMD.

I notice a dramatic drop in fps when lookig at trees with this sweetfx.were talking 60 down to 30 in a second.

is this normal?

Could be that i also used some post processing thingies via .sqf in the mission editor, i don't remember.

Anyone got Sweetfx working for Sniper EliteV2?

I put the Sweetfx files here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sniper Elite V2\bin

I have the files installed but when you start the game your sitting at a black screen and thats it, normally the Rebellion logo shows up right after start.

I got SweetFX running with Arma3 np, game looks much crispier and more vibrant, that whitish tint is gone too, always hated that hue effect, makes the game look foggy like.

Nope, still can't even get it to work for Arma3. I'm on Win8.1 and nomatter the installer it doesn't work :(

Thanks mate, but it keeps giving a d3d11.dll missing after drag&dropping. I remember this failing like this before and I gave up. Any other solutions are welcome from those running Win8.1 (64bit!)
