More GROM shots (release should be around Christmas Day) GROM Marksman with a M14 EBR- I got in contact with a few Polish guys who gave me some more current (mid 2016) sources that say they use the EBR instead of the HK417, and Poland recently got a shipment of 65 Oshkosh M-ATV's this year so I have added them to the faction. jarrad96 1940 Posted December 25, 2016 Marine Corps Special Operations Command- Marine Raider Regiment (MARSOC Marine Raiders, formerly Marine Special Operations Regiment.) Marine Raiders with a Daniel Defence Mk18 and M136 AT4. The Anti-Tank solder carries a SCAR-L rifle, as the current SCAR-H's have a L conversion kit in inventory, and among SOF there is usually personal preference for weapon system they carry on deployments- for the raiders the primary weapon is a Mk18 with Magpul P-MAG gen 3 Windowed (adopted December 20th, 2016 as future standard issue, NSN Number- 1005-01-615-5169), with the SCAR-H as a secondary rifle- specialist roles are filled by the M27 IAR, M249 SAW and 338. Lapua Magnum. The M27 IAR replaces the M249 SAW on a fireteam level, with the M249 SAW being moved to a squad level weapon or used by heavier assault teams. Uses the Elcan Spectre as the default IAR optic to take advantage of it's superior accuracy compared to the SAW. The USMC do not have dedicated medics, and rely on Navy forces- this guy is a SARC, Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsmen, who gets attached to Marine special forces elements as the corpsman/ medic. Raider Recon forces- The Raiders have a liking for the 7.62 SCAR-H battle rifle, so I have issued the SCAR-H in more roles than just for designated marksman- this Recon element is issued them as standard. They are the forward recon unit for the Raiders, and have suppressors and lighter body armor and kit to make them more mobile- they also have access to quads as a light vehicle. MARSOC Convoy- At the front is a LSV, with a NATO APC in the middle as a LAV stand-in- The MARSOC units have vehicles revolving around quick, mobile deployments of their forces, and if needed have access to a heavy assault team mounted in an APC as a QRF (Quick Reaction Force) 2 Raider scouts, 2010. Source image- someone make some standalone bikes in A3 already :) On a more general note, the raiders were based primarily on a deployment in 2010 to the Farah province, Bala Baluk District, Afghanistan, 2010. In particular around March, 2010, but I also have sources from 2012 all the way to 2016. The 'Raider' name is a reference to the WW2 Marine Raider teams, and is a more recent name change.
