ZOMG SO MUCH ACTION!! I want less quick cuts though. NEED MUCH MORE than 2 full seconds of actual A3 footage though, mostly Arma2 and VBS2 were in that super cool trailer!

I thinkthe dark green looks uglier than what we saw at E3 thoug :/ :23 secs in.

Alright gents, it's been quiet for some time now and recently there was the big BIS christmas party and an Arma 3 design meeting :)

The smell of new info is in the air :D

Something very interesting was tweeted by RiE:

If you follow the link, you can listen to a very nice soundtrack that would indeed fit perfectly into Arma 3. However why should one post such a wish on twitter where most people don't understand the connection? There must be something serious because horseplay is not tolerated by BIS

I also recogniced you can listen to the track on almost any other section of the site which leads me to the conclusion that it's not the music which is interesting here.

So what do we have so far?:

• "I could imagine resisting on a greek island with this music"
  
• the music is not the important thing
  
• #hangoverMusic - parallel to the party and the jokes the community makes about it. serves as distraction but at the same time as a subtle hint
  

So, if the music is not what matters, lets take a look at where we can find this music.

its a homepage of a greek painter who does christian paintings. As already discovered, the music can be found in any other category aswell, so there must be something special in this specific one.

You can see an oil painting of a person titled St. Eustratius

If you are familiar with greek history and saints, you know that there is an island where he lived in the 9th century as an exile, named after him.

It is called Agios Efstratios

Agios Efstratios or Saint Eustratius (Greek: Άγιος ΕυστÏάτιος) is a small Greek island in the northern Aegean Sea about 30 km southwest of Lemnos and 80 km northwest of Lesbos. Together with Lemnos and nearby islets it forms the regional unit of Lemnos, part of the Greek archipelagic region of the North Aegean.

There you have it :) It is this small island next to Limnos

RiE was secretly referring to this island in his twitter "tweet".

What this discovery could mean:

• Since the island was used to house political prisoners in internal exile, Jay could be imprisoned there and is desperately calling for our help. (RoyaltyInExile :eek:)
  
• This island might be included in Arma 3 as a smaller "testmap" as it is also poorly inhabitated
  
• We have to use this information somehow
  

@last point: Can information be considered as a "present"? Like telling your kids you will get this and that next christmas :D

If that's not the case this knowledge could be used somehow. I imagine something like we have seen it before with the hidden devblog pictures, meaning we have to find yet another secret section of Arma 3.com by finding the correct combination of codewords or similar.

Could the "deep within a forest" part also be of interest? After all, as I understand it there are no forests on the real Limnos, but that other island seems to have one along the north coast. :)

Maybe its an abbreviation or just something simple - quickly typed to save it just before party/hangover...

if you use 15016 as a latitude on google earth it gives you Ghana's coastline (assuming lat is 0) so it couldnt be a long / lat unless it is the first of the two (this could be the lat, the next hint could be longatude.

I also noticed that Venezuela is on that line as well, maybe they are a planned faction for a expansion pack or something?

Well, it was most likely just a dev out of control doing what he can do best: being crazy and wearing a horse mask :D

Interesting on the other hand is the island.

It would make quite some sense to include it in Arma 3. (small testmap without heavy performance hit)

Maybe the music is more important. The song is "My Name is Tom" from the Spygame soundtrack. Brad Pitt plays the character Tom Bishop, a CIA operative in training.

One of the quotes from the movie is:

Nathan Muir: You just gave her four pieces of personal information for one dubious impersonal fact.

Tom Bishop: Just trying to find out where she got that dress.

So obviously we'll be able to cross dress in ArmA3.
