Development Blog & Reveals

Recommended Posts

Im also a bit curious of what happened in the development. Did they discover horse meat in the game code? It seems to be everywhere these days.

(not that i have anything against eating horses).

Ok let's try this again, 93 of the last replies in here which contained the word "Steam" have been moved here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?119471-ArmA-3-on-Steamworks

Please use this thread to discuss the Arma3 dev blog and reveals, but not anything related to the actual issues of Steam/Steamworks which has its own thread here. There is news on the alpha coming out a little later so stay tuned.

Preparing to reinstall the application, through which the ArmA III Alpha will be available. trollface.png

Making the Alpha public, provided there are no (not many) game-breaking bugs, is the right thing to do, along with testing out the platform and alleviating the fears.

<--- This One awaits eagerly.

Trollface is eternal & its true origins precede the birth of the Universe, as manifested in the 2011 Summer ArmA 3 reveal ARG:

And my favourite - http://i48.tinypic.com/2cy3xu9.jpg trollface.png

Didn't want to post this in the official ARG thread, but the above history recap is to those, who think the current ARG may be fake - follow all clues. I'd help, but no time.

A3A Cometh.

Last time as per above year 2011 Summer ARG before ArmA III reveal, I think it took 1 month to materialise, but we knew 1-2 weeks into ARG what it was all about. :cc: I'll find the thread, sec.

HERE! -- http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?118336-ArmA-2-site-hacked&highlight=arma+hacked+arg

It's 741 pages, but you just have to read it. :cc:

Here's the Q&A after the 2011 ARG had finished - http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?119602-Pre-announcement-ARG-answers-to-questions-discussion&highlight=arma+arg

Sorry I thought it was going to be today but I guess not! I'll try to find out in the morning where it went, so all can go to sleep for the next 12 hours at least ;)

A very good read indeed. That was a lot of fun.

We could use another wiki for this ARG also, it worked very well last time.

I really believed I was using simple, clear English, and yet I just had to move about 10 replies which were all Steam/Steamworks related to the actual A3 Steamworks thread....

I fully endorse this statement; however, it's worth noting that the short-hand for this is 'soonâ„¢' :)
