There's also a texture for an Xcom style Alien, so that doesn't say much.

Oh, I also found the alien that was teased way back before E3 2012. It's apparently called a Reticulan for those who remember that April Fools joke, IIRC. The texture's in the game lol.

Are you sure it's not called a Ridiculan?

Also please keep feedback in the dev branch thread or the troubleshooting subforum.

Well obviously its not meant to be a bandana but it must serve some purpose for them to have the model. I know there are a number of class names for special forces helmets which are currently just using the standard helmet model.

looks like an early version of a helmet we've seen on a screenshot before.

Don't lost than we can hope to fire from the passenger seat :), if the animations coming again.
That isn't the animation... the animation was removed from the animation viewer. :(
Make that "after September 12?" :P Remember how these release schedules now work...

since the last beta update (06-09-2013 / EXE rev. 09860) it seems I got much better fps overall performance in MP and in SP.

anybody can confirm that?

Mine seems to of got worse I was stable at 10k view and 4k object all on ultra now I have 2k view and 1k object and its stuttering and not loading ground textures in the distance they appear white and cant turn, walk, scope, without freezing.

Mine also seems better, but at the same time I updated my AMD drivers to 13.10 beta (from 13.8 belta1) so that confounds the interpretation (game patch or beta drivers?)

A couple of issues with the vehicles and their effects:

http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=14019 APFSDS overpenetrate without doing damage or causing casualties

http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=14023 Tanks are not affected by gun recoil, T-100 has no recoil animation at all and the muzzleflash looks like a white smoke cinema effect round rather than a tanks gun blast, videos provided inside.

http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=14021 Issue since OFP, Vehicles float above the ground. Almost all new sandbox vehicles do.

http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=14096 Rangefinder font is rubbish, font in general is very difficult to read since 6, 8, 9 and 5 look deceptively similar and 6 and 8 can often not be discerned at all. So your range may read 689, 986, 666, 999, 888, etc meters. You need to focus very hard to discern the letters from one another.

I apologize if the twitter feed is confusing. I use it as a personal feed and for sharing thoughts from various fields. While Arma takes the most of my time (as it should), I also work on some other projects outside BI for my enjoyment and learning and I like to think about games a lot. Perhaps I should add to info, that my tweets might not all be related to Arma/BI?
