If I recall correctly AI in ArmA II CO would flee if had no ammo. Tried it in editor and it always worked for me - but I was running the game with ACE mod (no AI mods). Would be strange if it is different in A3.

Flee in very rather case actually. If we imagine a basic scenario, you are a soldier with only a gun, you attack a truck with 20 civilians or another faction with no ammo. With only 7 ammo in one magazine, you can kill maybe 7 guys if you fire on the head and after ? If there are 15 guys. The survivors would flee ? I don't know that^^ 7 men could attack a guy without ammo, with only hands, rocks or other...

As i say, i don't want a great animation for that, it's a rather situation but when it's the case, it could be better^^. It's not a GTA Game, not a Dishnored Game, not a Splinter Cell Game, but in the new games now, we could naturally hope a micro update for this^^

I hope it will mean improved indoor awareness and movement of the AI.

I just tried it on Utes with one enemy soldier without the ammo. Revealed myself by shooting couple rounds in the air and the enemy after turning to me start fleeing.

That's the news of the century :) Hopefully A3 will put more on indoor firefights :)

This is wonderfull news. I wish some efforts are being made to improve the AI's detection and reaction to targets inside buildings/bunkers/etc.

yeah, this would be a real revolution :D ... nevertheless, it's good to know they put some work into ai

This new Island is completely bonkers. You've outdone yourselves, BI, congratulations. Tank Terrain plus Mountains plus Towns that are two kilometers on the side? Ex-cel-lent!

Thank you very, very much! I am almost scared to explore, not knowing the terrain would do so much to the experience of the terrain.
