Two Island linked together would be nice and a huge step ahead.

But wasn't this the case with Sahrani and Rahmadi in Arma 1 already? Or is my mind fooling me now? I remember having a single Rahmadi map and a map containing Sahrani + Rahmadi.

Or not? :D

Yes, United Sahrani was the one in QG - after the war the north and south were -> politically <- united.

Nevertheless coming back to topic I however think that the distance between Lemnos and the other island could be bigger than between "Sara and Rahma".

That might actually happen, as it exists already in

Earth Curvature is a client-side visual effect achieved by modifying vertex positions during rendering. At this time it is not tied to the VBS2 physical simulation so it will not be taken into account by engine line-of-sight tests for sensors or AI visibility. (units are in meters).

well if they add both the islands to the one map, then they should give us some big warships so we can travel between the 2 (or at least build in stuff that allows us to).

OK OK, enough with the talks about islands and earth curvature and look at the chemlight screen. Notice the distinct lack of a handgun holseter on the soliders right leg, compared to other screenhosts like this or this

How many levels does your customatization system have BIS :)?

hmm with the "Weed-Helmet" it is really going into small details!

As we speak about it, does anyone know what those, apparently glowing, things on the helmets are? here is another shot of it. (Combat helmet)

Makes sense, we had IR strobes in OA. Healmet mounted IR beacons would greatly improve F/F identification for FLIR operators. I wonder if OPFOR get's them.

@maio: Now that I took a closer look, I really think it is in fact a IR beacon. It makes perfect sense due to the reasons you mentioned.

But now I wonder why it's not on the "SpecOps" one

Reading through that comment the first time I thought you said underwear shooting...but underwater shooting is good too :)
