PacUK 1 Posted May 19, 2011 Nice stuff but the German helmets still are messed up when AA is on which ruins the immersion. Turning AA off fixes it but the game looks terrible without it. Maybe a fix for next patch?Cheers As stated before we've been unable to reproduce this error ourselves so fixing it isn't very easy as we're not entirely sure of the cause. As far as I'm aware it only happens with ATI graphics cards. UNN 0 Posted May 20, 2011 On a 1-10 scale, how hard it actually is to achieve? Quite easy, but not obvious, don't be fooled. The Inv44 team had to ask how it was done as well. You have two options: Either separate the tracks into separate sections, curved and straight. Then animate each section sepratly. You only have to to animate each section to the length of the tracks link, to create a sense of motion. The other method just requires you to create the tracks as a separate vehicle then attach that vehicle using the attachTo command. The former results in a self contained p3d. The latter means you can exploit all the simulation effects of the tank class. That is, individual wheel suspension, dust clouds and track marks on the terrain e.t.c But requires two seperate p3d's. Thanks for the feedback, the two sounds errors look like typo's I missed in the DAC sound configs, I'll try and get an update out to fix those. As well as look into the fog script, not sure why that would occus on D+1. The germans speaking russian is due to there not being a german radio set of ArmA2, we are working on some for future implementation. Guys - where is now module "Armor penetration" ??? What was in 2.50? The armour penetration module was removed as it was pretty old and untested and not intended for use. Macolik is currently reworking module and its features for a future release, it had been intended to be removed with 2.5 but was overlooked. As far as I know the module itself was just set to private so not available in the editor list, you may still be able to use the old version if you add it manually to a mission.
