rubberkite 19 Posted March 23, 2011 always good to hear that bugs are solved.... I suppose that those beta will be part of final 1.59. I also can't wait to see the final release working, and also respective linux and win dedi server. Seems that this will be really a "BIG" step ahead from 1.57 in many aspect of the game. thank you to BIS and for people that work togheter reporting problems and testing stuff for free. :)

Dwarden 1125 Posted March 23, 2011 I sent you a dump last week and I never got a reply from sending it. Is that normal? or should I have resent the info to you again Dwarden? i usualy not answer the [Crash] subject emails cause i got quite lot of them ... i answer only bogus ones where someone sent me useless or obsolete data ... ofcourse if the issue still happening then it's better You sent me newer build based crashdumps+rpt ... duckmeister 10 Posted March 23, 2011 I'm afraid you should re read his post. In his post, he claims that he is glad that BIS fixed a crash that was the previous beta. That's it. Why did you blow up on him?

duckmeister 10 Posted March 23, 2011 Ok ok, i'm sorry, i must have misunderstood his post. Oh I see, a friend of mine read the post and thought that he was being sarcastic as if to say "Gee, thanks BIS for giving me a CTD", instead of a sincere "Thanks BIS for fixing the CTD". That's totally understandable. Funny how frequent miscommunication occurs in text, with no way to determine tone or body language.

I'm also reading it as the former, "tnx for giving me a CTD", unable to figure out how people would read it as the latter :D

cjph 0 Posted March 23, 2011 Heck, I thought he was just confirming the last beta caused a CTD for him "1st in ages"? Correct m8 - 79122 caused my first crash in a long long time last night, and when I logged on today I see another beta fixing a crash problem. So I meant to thank BIS for the unbelievable quick response with 79224, ie the fix was good news. No sarcasm, just genuine gratitude for the support the team give. @Dwarden, was late last night and I guess this fix has solved it. cjph

AZCoder 921 Posted March 24, 2011 I have been getting this scripting error for probably the last month or two when running the beta patches. I thought it was an addon, but I traced it to line 605 of healer.sqf in the First Aid module. Error: _healer removeEventHandler ["animStateChanged", > Error position: <removeEventHandler ["animStateChanged", > Error Type Any, expected Number I run Battlefield Clearance and Simulation with this in their inits: this synchronizeObjectsAdd allUnits; The error occurs usually once per mission after some random amount of time. wolffy.au 9 Posted March 24, 2011 The error occurs usually once per mission after some random amount of time. Multiple missions or the same mission? Can we get a look at the mission to try and reproduce it?
AZCoder 921 Posted March 24, 2011 It's 8 different missions in my campaign, which I plan to release in 2 to 3 days. I always run with showscripterrors, so I see these things, and just got around to researching it. There was a ticket for this very error in CIT in 2009 that was resolved, and I had not seen it happen until the past few weeks. http://dev-heaven.net/issues/3468 It does not appear to be 100% the same, but related nonetheless.
