mr burns 132 Posted February 7, 2011 That would definately be on my list if I included non-PC titles, along with somne other PS classics (Tomb Raider especially). And yea, the rest all sucked compared to 2. Tomb Raider a console classic?! I´m having flashbacks of checking the videogame store daily to see if it´s released for PC already, that was years before PS1! :pet6: PS: Adding #6 to my all time fav-five: -Tie Fighter (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Just needed to mention that as i was awaiting it´s release more impatiently than anything else at that time. Die Hard Trilogy for PS1 plays in the same league.....and a bit of Mystic Quest for GB

Prydain 1 Posted February 7, 2011 The original Tomb Raider was a classic for the PS1. It was the first game I ever paid for with my own money, I think I was 6-7 at the time. I still have that original, none platinum, copy which I got on day of release. I remember playing while my sisters read out instructions from the walk-through guide, good times. I still have that original, none platinum, copy which I got on day of release. Oh yeah, forgot about that, a classic for sure, one of few games I actually played until the end... I also forgot about C&C series, Starcraft series, Warcraft series, Total War series, and a few others mentioned since I posted. A top 5 is impossible. But a top 3 would be easy if I could include BIS products... Arma II, OFP, Arma
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted February 7, 2011 Too many good games have come and gone for me, but I'll try and sort them out. PC-wise: 5. Oblivion 4. Dead Space 3. NFS V: Porsche Unleashed 2. Mass Effect (and #2, if series are allowed) 1. System Shock 2 Honourable mentions to Starcraft, the Hitman series, Company of Heroes, UT99, the original AvP and Quake IV. Nintendo-wise: 5. Donkey Kong 64 4. Mario Kart 64 3. Majora's Mask 2. Ocarina of Time 1. Goldeneye Twilight Princess is a close 6th due to a forward port.

How could I forget? I played the first (NOLF 1) game over and over. NOLF 2 was not so good, have to say. NOLF is probably one of the most popular games of all times where I come from. In 2000/01 this, OPF, HL1, THPS2 and FIFA 2001 were probably most played games for us.
