  1. 1. What are the most important sounds for you while using JSRS?

    • The weapon sounds!
    • The vehicle sounds!
    • Environmental sounds!
    • Explosions, Soniccracks, Bullethits, the sound of danger!
    • The script features like the "distance sounds"!
    • Everything combined! The whole Mod itself is important.

Well, I have some already like these (
).

Hope this is good enough fir the first?

Jarhead

Yeah those are really good, I was talking about a few sonic cracks from like PKM (I think?) and some other weapons which dont sound right from a distance and I think you said you packed the wrong sonic cracks sounds with the 1.2 release.

I was just wondering if we could get the correct ones in a patch maybe. :D

Hey all, Its been a long while, I played the shit out of arma but just built a pc very capiable of handling arma 2. My question is how do I use the patches? Its been a while since ive had to do the mod folder stuff. Do I replace all the @JSRS files with the new ones? Another question: If I make a @JSRS mod folder and then extract all the @JSRS folders into the one I created will this work? Or do I need to have each @JSRS folder on its own in the arma directory. For example c/ document/ arma 2/ @jsrs/ All the @jsrs files into this follder?

That's how I do it. Works fine. Just extract 1.0, then 1.1, then 1.2... overwriting as you go, and then put them all in one folder if that is your wish. You'll think you are playing a new game once you listen to these. Just make sure to play a little vanilla first to really appreciate what Jarhead has done.

First of all thank you for a great mod, now I enjoy the game even more.

I wonder about the latest update with the soniccracks , should I replace the current in the map JSRS-E with the latest and just overwrite with the new ones?

Great Job Jarhead, I really like the new adjustments that you have made since the first version. This is the best sound mod now, and it is of no suprise because of your dedication and meticulous work with each sound. Thanks again for the new Xm8 sounds as that is my favorite gun.:)
