Hello all! Welcome to Aegis PMC, an Arma3 semi-milsim experience. We try to act in a tactical and serious manner while trying to stay fun and somewhat casual. Zues is an amazing idea and i love tgat it has public official servers but the thing that absolutely breaks it for everyone are the trolls, eitger people who just want to ruin the game for others or people who have no interest at all in the tactical and strategic aspects of Arma. While admins do have the power to kick players and players can also vote to kick thia does not stop particularly determined trolls from coming back immediately after being kicked, now thus leaves few options, the admin has to stop playing the game to continually kick out a troll player, the players have to kill the troll each time he spawns or the zues/moderator has to closely watch the troll ensuring he doesnt do anything, all of these things pull someone out of immersion for an extended period of time, now i have been admin before and i generally kick for racist comments or excessive team killing just so you all have an idea of the type of people im talking about, if im unlucky after kicking that player for the next ten minutes i have to repeatedly kick this player each time he joins back, now i've let players join back after kicking them and the usual thing that happens is either extreme disrespect to me and or zues/mod or shooting everyone and inciting others to do the same. I feel the fix to this is extremely simple though and it eludes me to why it already isnt in place, if there was a ban time that makes it unable for a player who is kicked to rejoin for say 5-10 minutes this would discourage trolling and make it easier on all players involved, admins wont have to worry about needing to kick a player repetedy and zues could carry on with missions, now this doesn't even have to be an admin power, it could be done through a vote. Even if it is done through a vote that still better than nothing, as of right now trolls have free reighn on public zues servers and constantly succeed in slowing down interupting or even stopping gameplay altogether. There needs to be some way to counter this or else public zues servers will continue to have a bad name. Thank you for your time Newt

Hi, I am an avid Arma 3 player and have been playing zues quite a bit. Here are some suggestions and bug reports that I have for Arma 3 dev team on the topic of Zues. (Official servers) Suggestions: - Allow a "ban for 5 minutes option". This would help out so much with trolls and the like. It would also prevent people who go join back with auto-join scripts, just so they can cause trouble. - ..I find myself spending alot of time moving units into buildings that I have put down. It would be cool if there was an option to move a set group of units into the building unit, and it would move them into preset positions all throughout the building. (bunkers, shops, offices) - It would be very cool if I could place pre-made loadouts from the arsenal as units DIRECTLY from the unit menu. - It would be much appreciated if the placeable non-static objects like Trawlers and whatnot, had their invisible barriers updated. Some of them are too wonky and have invisible walls and unwalkable floors. - It would be cool if I could place trees and plant life. - It would be cool if there was a VERY stormy weather option, where wind speeds are very fast and trees are moving alot more. - It would be cool if I record a voice message on a recorder, and then place it down as a unit. Then a player could pick it up and hear that message. - It would be nice if I could spawn groups units into different formations rather than having to change them after they have spawned. Bug reports: - I crash a lot when opening my map as zues. This could be from units that have been placed, but it is very anoying. - I cannot turn on lights of cars or helicopters when controlling units as zues. - There seems to be a unit cap when placing too many of one faction, but it could be a bug. - Some people seem to have trouble loading classes from a crate that has been made into an arsenal. - It seems that AI units refrain from using barrel attachments like flashlights and lasers. Not sure if that was intended. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Might add more later. Also feel free to add to the list.

Frag Platoon is a fairly small tight knit group (of about 12 people currently) which has been around for over a year, however switched to Arma 3 on new years from Arma 2 so we are some could say "new" to arma 3. We are hoping to reach a stable 20-25 players regularly. We feel a small group that plays well together is better than 30+ player counts where you don't really know everyone. That and easier to make missions. Our focus is on on fun and semi realistic play style. Meaning that our missions have a realistic role selection (squad lead, squad medic, fireteam 1, ect) without all the "proper" drills or requirements to be in certain slots its first come first serve for roles. You are not locked to any role for example you can be a rifleman one game and a pilot the next (we do ask you do know how to fly though and not take it and crash instantly). Missions we play vary wildly. Coops, TVT's, Zues missions and gimmick missions (take it easy missions like car races ect) usually played at the end of session. The mod's that we use are in our Arma 3 sync repo. Consisting of: ACE3, Acre, CBA3, Cup terrains, Standalone F-15, John's SU-35, both RHS packs and Shacktac's hud. With Unsung's update in the future Our sessions are at 8pm EST as due to our international members this works best for the majority so anyone is welcome to join. We do not have any "session requirements" meaning we are not forcing you to play with us join us whenever you can. We are even fine if you multi-clan. We do ask to please let any admins know if you cant make it for courtesy sake as sometimes we plan missions based on estimated player count. Requirements to join are fairly simple. Must be respectful, mature, have a good sense of humor and willing to play as a team. No lone wolfing. Must be at least 17 years to join.
